BLUEGRASS JAM: Bring an instrument and play along or just come to Bluegrass Jams, a free event, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. while exploring the exhibits and grounds of The AgriCultural at 102 City Park Road.
MOONDANCE OUTDOOR CONCERT Series: Come out to a Moondance concert featuring Trey Gonzalez, at Cibolo Nature Center, 140 City Park Road. Music starts at 7:30 p.m. This is a family-friendly outdoor concert series supporting local musicians. Bring chairs, picnic blankets, cushions, beer, food and ice chests. A food truck will also be on site. Tickets: $15 per person; 12 years old and under are free.
MUSIC IN THE Cave: Summer Solstice. Cave Without A Name, 325 Kreutzberg Road, is hosting another musical event, featuring Rudi Harst and the Rudiments, who will perform a variety of acoustic, world-beat music styles. Tickets are $35 at cavewithoutaname.com, or $40 at the door.

WEEKLY DAY CAMPS at The Cibolo during “A Quest at the Cibolo.” For children between 5 and 12 years old, the week-long sessions include Nature Camp, 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., and Art Camp, 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. Each week will focus on a different aspect at The Cibolo; they’ll join teams, play games, do STEM activities, hike, learn archery, sing camp songs and more, all while exploring nature. OAK WILT AND Drought Stress workshop from 9-10:30 a.m. the Herff House, 33 Herff Road. The workshop will be led by Erin Davis, a specialist with the Texas A&M Forest Service. Attendees will learn how to identify oak wilt and drought stress during the summer and receive expert advice for treatment, monitoring and tree care. This event has reached capacity. BOERNE CONCERT BAND presents a free Independence Day Concert at 6:30 p.m. at Main Plaza, 100 N. Main St. Before the Concert Band, the Boerne Jazz Band will be featured. Bring lawn chairs, blankets and enjoy some jazz and patriotic selections to begin the Independence Day celebrations.
