•June 18: Design Principles — Ever want to unlock some of the mysteries of art? Come discover a unique way to create art and define it. We will use a hands-on approach in mixed media and explore each principle using paint, hot glue, foam, paint mediums and found objects.
•July 9, 16: Resin Embellishments (2-part) — This two-session class allows us to use two-part epoxy resin. Fabricate a wire open bezel. Incorporate color, paper, glitter and inclusions into the resin.
Practice mixing and handling the unique medium of resin. The second session will include UV resin for finishing and added dimension.
•July 23: Glue Batik — Try a modern twist on traditional Indonesian batik fabric. Use a water-soluble glue to act as a resist. Add color with high flow fabric paints. Produce patterns and designs in vivid color. Come play in a supportive and fun environment.
