LAW ENFORCEMENT The following is a brief, partial recap of incidents reported by the Boerne Police Department and the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. General locations are listed rather than specific addresses. An arrest should not imply guilt or innocence, which will be decided in court at a later date. JUNE 5

8:06 a.m., Jackies Cove — A caller reported she trapped a raccoon and was ready for animal control to pick it up.

4:19 p.m., 50000 block of W. Interstate 10 — A customer backed a vehicle into the building, causing damage.

6:35 p.m., 800 block of North Creek Road — A caller reported his vehicle was stolen during the week. The caller provided dispatch with the name of who they suspected stole it.

8:26 p.m., 100 block of Blue Ridge Drive — A caller reported a car dealership kept her car for the previous two months, telling her it was being repaired. The caller was directed to the correct jurisdiction.

10:21 p.m., 100 block of FM 1621 — A caller reported two dogs were on his property and one of the dogs had charged the caller. The caller said he shot at the dog twice but was unsure if he hit it. Animal control came to the location and took custody of the dogs.

JUNE 6

6:22 a.m., 52000 block of W. I-10 — A caller reported a pickup truck parked under a bridge, near the water. Law enforcement found the vehicle occupants were asleep.

8:13 a.m., on Joshua Creek Circle — A caller reported that her neighbor’s dog had come onto the property and killed all her chickens.

12:39 p.m., 100 block of Doeskin Drive — A caller reported she found a baby bat. The caller placed the bat in a tree but told dispatch the bat didn’t look well.

12:52 p.m., 800 block of North Creek Road — A caller reported his truck had been stolen the previous evening.

JUNE 7

7:56 a.m., 100 block of Holiday Road — Two cows were reported to be in the middle of the road, discussing where they wanted to go for breakfast.

8:11 a.m., 300 block of Deep Hollow Drive — A caller reported a rooster was dumped at their location. The caller explained it was the second rooster left there in the past two days.

1:27 p.m., Staudt Street — Someone came into the sheriff ’s office lobby to report he was being harassed by a former coworker who was out of state.

2:14 p.m., 100 block of Timber Trail — A caller reported an older vehicle slowly driving down the road, taking photos of homes in the area. The caller was concerned the driver was taking photos of children in nearby pools.

JUNE 8

12:32 a.m., mile marker 539 E. I-10 — A vehicle was reported to be going the wrong way on the interstate. Spikes were put up and the vehicle was stopped. The driver was read their rights and taken into custody.

7:50 a.m., 100 block of Waring Knoll Drive — A caller reported her neighbor was angry at her because her dog got loose. The neighbor came to the caller, yelled at her, then threatened her mother.

12:00 p.m., 40 block of N. Highway 87 — A caller reported a white truck on the side of the road that was engulfed in flames. Comfort FD extinguished the blaze and a wrecker was called for the vehicle.

1:34 p.m., Highway 87/I-10 — A two-vehicle accident was reported, with one of the vehicles rolling over. One of the occupants was complaining of chest pain. An ambulance was called for the individual.

JUNE 9

11:04 a.m., mile marker 535 E. I-10 — A caller reported her boyfriend hit her as he was driving. The boyfriend alleged the girlfriend was also hitting him and that his face was bleeding. The call was transferred to the correct jurisdiction.

11:32 a.m., 100 block of Majestic Oaks Drive — A stray dog was reported to be at this caller’s doorsteps without an invitation.

11:51 a.m., 200 block of Wild Turkey Boulevard — A caller reported issues with his neighbor shooting firearms. The caller said this was an ongoing issue.

8:32 p.m., 100 block of Spring Valley Cove — A caller reported they had a video of a drone being flown over their property. The caller added they suspected it was someone from the area’s homeowners association.
