— SOURDOUGH WORKSHOP from 6:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m. at The Cibolo, 33 Herff Road. Those attending will have the opportunity to make their own sourdough loaf from a yeast used for over 100 years, and take home a variety of kitchen items, including sourdough starter.

— THE BOERNE CHAMBER will hold a ribbon- cutting ceremony at 11:30 a.m. for Das Festival of Kendall, 100 N. Main St.
JUNE 15
— DAS FESTIVAL OF Kendall begins at 10 a.m. Saturday with a parade on Main Street and runs through Sunday, with events at Random Beer Garden, 11 Upper Cibolo Road. The event will be a celebration of Boerne and Kendall County traditions and heritage, including live music all day from numerous local and locally known musicians, family activities for all ages, and beer stein hoisting competitions all weekend. Game/event times are 1-6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday; bands perform at Random from noon-10:30 p.m. Saturday and noon-8 p.m. Sunday.
— ANNUAL BULL RIDING Blow-Out by the Kendall County Fair Association. Prepare for edge- of-your-seat excitement at the sixth annual Kendall County Fair Association Bull Riding Blowout at the Kendall County Fairgrounds, 1307 River Road.
