LAW ENFORCEMENT

The following is a brief, partial recap of incidents reported by the Boerne Police Department and the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. General locations are listed rather than specific addresses. An arrest should not imply guilt or innocence, which will be decided in court at a later date. BOERNE POLICE DEPARTMENT March 8

3:09 a.m., 1200 block S. Main St.- A woman was arrested during a traffic stop.

11:19 a.m., 10 block Ranger Creek Rd.- A woman was concerned about a man parked outside her residence in a blue truck for 10 minutes. She was concerned it might be her daughter’s ex-partner.

2:58 p.m., 1 Greyhound Lane- A student at Boerne High School was found in possession of tobacco.

5:35 p.m., 500 block Adler Rd.- A woman was arrested for smoking marijuana in her Toyota Corolla.

7:48 p.m., 539 MM I-10 W.- A man reported a vehicle rolled off the roadway, and he couldn’t locate where they were. The driver was waiting on the side of the road for help to arrive.

8:44 p.m., 825 Johns Rd.- A woman reported a child in diapers was left screaming near a building in the apartment complex.

Officers also conducted 16 security checks, made 27 traffic stops, assisted the public seven times, removed two traffic hazards and worked two false alarms, four non-injury accidents, one animal call and one reckless driver.

March 9

12:43 a.m., 19 Cascade Caverns Rd.- A woman reported her ex-husband was banging on the patio at the back of her apartment complex. She suspected he was trying to get in through a window. She said he kept trying to get back with her after they split, but she didn’t want him to know she called the police.

9:47 a.m., 542 MM I-10 W.- A plumbing truck lost a box off the back, and a woman said it hit her vehicle.

11:25 a.m., 201 Charger Blvd.- A student was caught in possession of tobacco at Champion High School.

1:21 p.m., 134 Menger Springs- A therapist reported she was being harassed by a client’s father via text message, email and voicemail. She said the harassment had gone on for over a year and happened as recently as that morning.

2:37 p.m., 1 Greyhound Lane- A drug or narcotics report was made at Boerne High School.

8:04 p.m., 1000 Diamond- A woman reported an 11-year-old girl was locked out of her apartment with no way to get in until her parents got back home. The woman took the girl into her apartment since it was cold outside, but she said this wasn’t the first time this had happened. Officers reached the girl’s grandmother who said she’d been looking for her since 6 p.m.

Officers also conducted 33 security checks, made 16 traffic stops, assisted the public 25 times, removed a three traffic hazards, served a warrant and worked five false alarms, four non-injury accidents, two animal calls.

KENDALL COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

March 8

1:26 p.m., 201 E. San Antonio Ave.- A man was arrested and transported to the Kendall County Jail.

4:01 p.m., 100 block Hwy 46 W.- A three-vehicle accident required three wreckers. One of the people involved complained of neck and back pain.

4:51 p.m., 527 MM I-10 W.- A mobile home was riding down the interstate, backing traffic up for miles. The mobile home was pulled off at the Love’s Travel Stop exit, and stuff started rolling off the home.

9:08 p.m., 100 block Ulmus Rd.- A woman reported a man showed up at her home to fight her son-in-law, claiming the man was drunk. She said the man texted her daughter and asked her to meet him at the property gate. Officers tracked the man down and arrested him, noting he resisted arrest.

Deputies also conducted two security checks, made 18 traffic stops, assisted the public 12 times, removed a traffic hazard and worked one false alarm, one non-injury accident, one animal call and three reckless drivers.

March 9

8:36 a.m., 100 block Alta Dr.- A man wanted to know about driving right of ways in a construction zone.

9:31 a.m., 37150 I-10 W.- A woman reported her ex-boyfriend was sending text messages threatening her life. Deputies ensured everyone was currently safe and referred her to Bandera County for a protective order, as no crime had occurred in Kendall County.

1:33 p.m., 90 block Rodalyn Dr.- A resident was burning while the burn ban was on. Deputies advised the homeowner, and they put the fire out.

3:03 p.m., 200 block Upper Balcones Rd.- A woman was concerned about a man riding his bike slowly down the road. She thought he may cause an accident.

8:03 p.m., 50 block FM 3351 N.- An individual was arrested during a traffic stop.

9:11 p.m., Skyview and Canyon Loop- A man was arrested during a traffic stop after a probable cause search was conducted.

Deputies also made 27 traffic stops, assisted the public 14 times, removed two traffic hazards and worked one false alarm, two animal calls and one reckless driver.
