The annual Tapatio Men’s Golf Association and Ladies Golf Association teamed up for the recent Tapatio Springs MGA Cowboys and Cowgirls Golf Tournament consisting of three men and one-woman teams.
Those participating wore appropriate Western attire while playing and the event ended with a shrimp boil meal, prepared by Cajun Chef Barry Halbert, in the patio area of the Tapatio Springs restaurant.
Winners came from all handicaps across the board.
The first-place team was Ron Bowman, Pam Parish and Frank Cohen and they earned $100 each.
The second-place team was Pat Childress, Teri Elliott and Mark Wilson they earned $85 each.
The third-place team was Billy Denham, Shelia Hernandez and Gary Southern and the earned $75 each.
The fourth-place team was Charlie Crews, Debbie Woods and Keith Hembree and they earned $60 each.
The fifth-place team was Austin Dolch, Jenny Halbert and Marc Greer and they earned $50 each.
The sixth-place team was Randy Reese, Kirby Stelmazewski and Jimmy Locke and they earned $30 each.
Closest to the pin winners were No. 3 – Teri Elliott, No. 7 – Gary Kleist, No. 11 – Pam Parish and No. 17 – Mark Mobley.
