Geneva baseball players pick up postseason awards

Several Geneva School of Boerne baseball players earned postseason awards after their performances in the 2024 season.

Senior Shawn George was selected to play in the 2024 San Antonio Area Baseball Coaches All-Star Game at Wolff Stadium.

George was also chosen to the TAPPS 2024 D-III All-State First Team, while junior Colton Lutz was named to the TAPPS All-State Second Team and senior Cannon Menn was voted to the TAPPS Honorable Mention All-State Team.

George, Lutz and Menn were also named to the District 4 D-III first team, along with junior Jake Roberson and sophomore Brady Chandler.

Second-team all-district picks for the Eagles include freshman Bryce Hanover, sophomore Gray Bruner, senior Grant Roberson and sophomore Robert Jons.

Freshmen Caleb Quitadamo and Troy Cross were both named honorable mention all-district.
