LAW ENFORCEMENT The following is a brief, partial recap of incidents reported by the Boerne Police Department, Kendall County Sheriff’s Depart-ment and the Fair Oaks Ranch Police Department. General locations are listed rather than specific addresses. An arrest should not imply guilt or innocence which will be decided in court at a later date. BOERNE POLICE DEPARTMENT May 22

8:52 a.m., 100 block of Bonn — A caller reported his trailer plate had been stolen at some point in the previous month.

12:17 p.m., 200 block of Sanders Creek — A caller reported a co-worker had put him in a headlock and attempted to kick him. The co-worker also bit the caller, causing him to bleed.

1:12 p.m., 100 block of City Park Road — A caller was concerned about a van with a child occupant. The driver was going through things in the vehicle and the caller said something didn’t feel right about the situation.

2:33 p.m., 35000 block of W. Interstate 10 — A caller reported a male causing a disturbance at the location. The male was yelling at staff. Law enforcement came to the location and the male was detained.

May 23 8:15 a.m., 500 block of E. Blanco Road — A truck was reported to have hit a power line and then drove off. The transformer began sparking. Boerne Utilities and Boerne FD were contacted. It was found that it was a telecommunications line that was hit.

2:21 p.m., 800 block of Johns Road — A caller reported two of his firearms had been stolen from his vehicle in the previous two days.

3:25 p.m., 200 block of W. Low Cascade — A caller reported that more than $500 worth of vandalism had been done. Someone had stolen a mirror and showerhead, all while tracking mud through the house ruining the carpet 7:26 p.m., 400 block of W. Bandera Road — A caller reported someone had driven off without paying for gas. The driver was later located and paid for the purchase.

May 24

4:03 a.m., 100 block of Destiny Street — A caller was concerned about a location where the door had been left open. The caller did note that the residents had moved out of the location the previous day, and she was unsure if they had left it open or if someone had broken in. Law enforcement checked out the location and found everything was OK.

11:23 a.m., 31000 block of W. I-10 — A caller reported a gas pump had been tampered with.

1:57 p.m., 34000 block of 34000 E. I-10 — Two dogs were indecisive about what they were in the mood for, Chilis or Starbucks, and kept running between the two. Animal Control was contacted and kept the pair from picking up food from either location.

3:01 p.m., 1300 block of S. Main Street — An employee reported a juvenile had been caught shoplifting at the location.

10:00 p.m., 100 block of Cactus Flower — A caller reported teenage girls were running around, ringing people’s doorbells and then running away.

May 25

12:21 a.m., mile marker 532 W. I-10 — A vehicle was pulled over for a traffic stop. The vehicle was searched, and the driver was detained and taken to jail.

1:15 a.m., 800 block of Johns Road — A caller reported someone had come into the location and said they had an emergency. Another individual interjected and announced to the dispatch that they were drunk.

7:09 a.m., Old San Antonio/Herff Road — OnStar reported a vehicle collision had occurred. The airbags were deployed in the vehicle despite the caller saying he had not hit anything. Emergency services came to the location and the driver was able to relocate the vehicle.

2:44 p.m., mile marker 537 E. I-10 — A caller reported his vehicle’s engine had blown up and resulted in a small fire. The caller used a fire extinguisher. A wrecker was called for the vehicle.

8:49 p.m., 100 block of Mustang Run — A caller reported that she and her family were being threatened via text message. In addition to the threats, the caller was also receiving screenshots of her ex-husband texting with other women.

May 26

12:42 p.m., 1300 block of S. Main Street — An employee reported they had detained a woman for shoplifting. The employee requested a criminal trespassing warning against the individual.

1:19 p.m., 100 block of Calk Lane — A caller was concerned about a fox that was running around the area. The caller explained to dispatch that the fox should be nocturnal, and that if it was out in the heat during the day, then it was possibly rabid.

8:43 p.m., 1300 block of S. Main Street — A caller reported a vehicle that kept driving by, attempting to steal their cat.

May 27

11:43 a.m., 400 block of W. Bandera Road — A caller reported someone had stolen almost $80 worth of gas that morning. The caller added that this was a reoccurring issue with a particular driver.

11:52 a.m., 100 block of City Lake Road — An employee reported three pit bulls attacked another dog at the location.

2:20 p.m., 400 block of W. Bandera Road — A caller reported a truck had hit his vehicle in the parking lot and then driven off. The call did note that he was unsure if the other vehicle even realized the damage. The other party was successfully contacted.

2:52 p.m., 300 block of Herff Ranch — A caller reported seeing two children trespassing on his property.

May 28

12:17 a.m., on Esperanza/Splendido — A caller reported a suspicious vehicle with three occupants and another two individuals walking up to the vehicle. The caller’s suspicions were correct and two of the individuals were detained.

7:53 a.m., 100 block of Kilmarnock — A caller reported they were out with a snake. Not wanting to be caught, poked or prodded, the snake slithered down a drainage ditch before Animal Control arrived.

9:15 a.m., 100 block of Old San Antonio Road — A caller reported their vehicle had been stolen and provided dispatch with information regarding the matter. Kendall County Sheriff’s Office reports appear in today’s online edition of The Boerne Star.
