LAW ENFORCEMENT The following is a brief, partial recap of incidents reported by the Boerne Police Department and the Kendall County Sheriff ’s Office. General locations are listed rather than specific addresses. An arrest should not imply guilt or innocence, which will be decided in court at a later date. BOERNE POLICE DEPARTMENT

MAY 1

4:28 a.m., 200 block of Leather Leaf — A caller reported a dog had been barking all night. The caller attempted to contact his neighbor but was unsuccessful.

7:29 a.m., 100 block of Kassel Drive — A caller reported an odd male dressed in bright clothes in the neighborhood.

9:32 a.m., 100 block of Beech Creek — A caller reported that windows were stolen from a garage at a new construction site 11:39 a.m., Main Street/Bandera Road — A caller reported his license plate had been stolen.

11:39 a.m., 100 block of Advogt Street — A caller reported a male who was oddly dressed in the store, asking odd questions. The caller was concerned he was a human trafficker.

5:39 p.m., 200 block of Charger Boulevard — A caller reported that her son was being stalked.

8:17 p.m., 1200 block of Main Street — A caller reported a male who was walking around with a child. The male appeared to be intoxicated as he had slurred speech. Law enforcement located the male, who was taken into custody.

MAY 2

12:19 a.m., 500 block of River Road — A woman suspected of being intoxicated was causing a verbal argument. She was unamused at being told not to drive and was attempting to tell others she could drive.

9:31 a.m., Main Street/Bandera Road — Emergency notification services alerted law enforcement of a vehicle with a stolen license plate in the area.

4:15 p.m., Main Street/FM 1376 — A caller reported a coworker hit the caller in the face with a rock earlier that day.

9:39 p.m., 600 block of N. Main Street — A caller reported that someone was knocking on her door. The caller hid in her bathroom as the individual continued knocking. Law enforcement came to the location and did not find any criminal activity.

MAY 3

9:41 a.m., 100 block of Old San Antonio Road — A caller reported she received a naked picture in a text message the previous night. The caller was unsure how the male got her phone number, but wanted the matter documented.

11:27 a.m., 700 block of N. Main Street — A caller reported that a male came into the location looking to purchase property and obtain information about property. The caller was unsure where the male had gone. Law enforcement located the male and found he had a criminal trespass warning for the area.

11:46 a.m., Esser Road/River Road — Law enforcement was notified of a vehicle with a stolen license plate driving through town.

3:55 p.m., 100 block of Old San Antonio Road — A caller was concerned about a child who was on a scooter and heading towards the interstate.

4:36 p.m., 500 block of S. School Street — A toxic substance container was dumped on the side of the road. The container luckily was still sealed and wasn’t leaking. It was later investigated and found that someone had used the toxic bucket to dispose of sand.

MAY 4

1:46 a.m., 100 block of Southglen Parkway — Law enforcement had detained two individuals. One of the detained individuals was a juvenile.

10:28 a.m., 300 block of Theissen Street — A caller from Houston reported an address in Boerne that was being used as part of a Facebook Marketplace scam. The caller had paid a deposit but no one at the location had the product.

1:15 a.m., Main Street/Bandera Road — A caller reported a vehicle driving in the wrong lane and was all over the road. Law enforcement attempted to locate the vehicle but were unsuccessful.

2:29 a.m., 200 block of Old San Antonio Road — An employee reported a vehicle was parked in the parking lot with a folding table set up nearby. As the employee spoke with dispatch, the vehicle’s owner arrived at the location.

4:25 a.m., 100 block of Gallant Fox — A caller reported a woman standing outside an apartment, banging on the door for the past hour. Several minutes later, the caller advised that she had been let into the apartment.

7:13 p.m., 100 block of Clear Sky — A caller requested additional law enforcement presence in the area due to an assault that had occurred several days earlier.

MAY 6

1:41 p.m., 31000 block of W. Interstate 10 — A caller reported she had her car towed to the dealership but said they had loaded the vehicle incorrectly.

4:05 p.m., 31000 block of W. I-10 — A caller reported her rental vehicle as stolen.

4:06 p.m., 200 block of Ivy Lane — A caller reported she received a lot of harassing phone calls from a male who she had only met the previous week.

4:27 p.m., 33000 block of E. I-10 — A staff member said a truck came on the property, and the male driver got out of the vehicle and began taking pictures of the building.

5:59 p.m., 200 block of Bentwood — A caller reported her child was being harassed at the location via phone/text.

10:47 p.m., 100 block of Medical Drive — A caller reported a large snake right outside the caller’s apartment.

MAY 7

3:48 p.m., 500 block of W. Bandera Road — Multiple callers reported a vehicle accident; one of the vehicles had run a red light. One vehicle occupant was complaining of shoulder pain. An ambulance was called for the injured party.

6:08 p.m., 100 block of Clear Sky — A caller reported a male who appeared to be high on drugs, was causing a scene at the location, making everyone uncomfortable. The male got angry and began trying to fight the caller. Law enforcement came to the location and an individual was detained.

KENDALL COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

MAY 1

12:14 a.m., 30000 block of W. I–10 — A caller was suspicious of a vehicle parked there. Law enforcement found that it was a cleaning crew member.

12:18 a.m., 100 block of Highway 87 — A field sobriety test was conducted on a driver, who was then taken into custody.

7:27 a.m., 800 block of Evergreen Street — A caller reported two loose dogs had killed her cat. The caller was unsure who the dogs belonged to as they didn’t have collars.

7:34 a.m., 100 block of Kendall Woods Drive — A caller wanted to report her ex-boyfriend was harassing her.

12:15 p.m., 100 block of Blue Ridge — A caller reported a male on a scooter, wearing a mask and a hoodie, who was looking into vehicles in the parking lot.

3:37 p.m., Staudt Street — A caller wanted to speak with a deputy because he received a call from someone pretending to be a family member who needed money to get out of jail.

MAY 2

9:19 a.m., 100 block of Kendall Ridge — A caller reported an armadillo who had unfortunately been trapped in a cage.

9:25 a.m., 400 block of Waring-Welfare Road — A caller wanted to report she received a note in her mailbox with an odd message.

11:48 a.m., mile marker 529 E. I-10 — A caller reported a camper had been parked at the location for over 24 hours. The caller had knocked and there was no answer. The driver was advised to move by the end of the day.

11:59 a.m., 300 block of Saddle Mountain Drive — A male was reported to have gotten out of his vehicle and appeared to have a gun over his shoulder. The caller’s daughter chimed in and said it didn’t look like a gun.

3:27 p.m., on Doeskin Drive — A caller reported his old phone was stolen from him at the location.

MAY 3

1:31 a.m., 600 block of W. Bandera Road — A subject was reported to be running away. Law enforcement was able to locate the subject, who was detained.

11:00 a.m., 200 block of Miraval — A caller reported that 45 sheets of zip board had been stolen the previous morning.

2:02 p.m., on Staudt Street — A caller reported his trailer’s license plate had fallen off and gotten lost in the previous two weeks.

2:52 p.m., 300 block of Los Indios Ranch Road — A caller reported that someone damaged his fence and his property. The caller wanted a deputy to come to the location to take a report.

5:14 p.m., 200 block of W. Apacheria Pass — A caller reported there was a racoon that possibly had rabies that was at a neighbor’s house. The racoon was laying on the ground heavily breathing and was unable to move its legs.

11:23 p.m., 500 block of N. Highway 87 — A driver reported he was in an accident and his leg was trapped under the dashboard. The driver told dispatch he couldn’t see anything around him. Emergency services eventually located the man and extricated him from his vehicle.

MAY 4

5:05 a.m., 100 block of Nicklaus Way — A guard reported a vehicle was driving up and down the road for the past 10 minutes.

9:16 a.m., 200 block of Miraval — A caller reported $2,000 worth of zip board had been stolen during the night. A similar instance had occurred the previous night and the caller wanted the instance documented 10:58 a.m., 100 block of Rodalyn Drive — A caller reported he had a criminal trespass warning against his ex-girlfriend, who showed up the previous evening. The caller suspected she had stolen some of his stuff.

11:05 a.m., on Oakland Hills — A caller reported an injured fox was on her back patio.

11:05 a.m., 100 block of Spring Creek Road — A caller reported a male had driven his vehicle onto her property and come up to her door. The male told her that he wanted to fix her driveway.

4:21 p.m., 500 block of Highway 87 — An accident involving two vehicles occurred. One of the parties was hurt; another was trapped in the vehicle. Two ambulances were called for transport to the hospital.

MAY 5

1:16 a.m., on Cascade Caverns Road — A caller reported she could hear a beating taking place, and a male dropping things, in a nearby apartment. The caller said she was leaving the location as she did not feel safe. Dispatch noted they could hear thumping on the phone. Law enforcement came to the location and found everything was OK.

1:29 a.m., 100 block of Highway 27 — A male was administered a field sobriety test during a traffic stop. The male was subsequently detained and a blood draw was done.

9:58 a.m., 100 block of Stonegate — A caller reported a dead deer, partially on his property and partially on the side of the road. The caller had questions about how to dispose of the carcass.

4:44 p.m., 100 block of W. Highway 46 — A one-vehicle rollover accident occurred with the vehicle ending up in the ditch. The caller said people were trying to get out of the vehicle, but some people were still stuck inside. One of the occupants sustained a head injury. Lanes of the interstate were shut down. A wrecker was called for the vehicle.

MAY 6

6:21 a.m., 100 block of Monterey Trail — A caller reported a male shined a flashlight at the caller and refused to say anything. The male then turned off the flashlight and walked away. The caller was concerned due to recent break-ins in the area.

9:19 a.m., 100 block of Kendall Falls Road — A caller reported a female had torn up his backseat over the weekend and stolen some items.

12:05 p.m., 100 block of FM 1376 — A caller reported that a firearm had been stolen from the caller’s truck on Friday.

12:13 p.m., 100 block of Indian Bluff — A caller reported she was being harassed by a client and was concerned for her safety.

2:16 p.m., 1200 block of Fifth Street — An employee reported that two of his employees were in a physical altercation and one of them was hit with a metal rod. An ambulance was called for the injured party. One of the employees was detained and taken into custody.

2:37 p.m., mile marker 504 I-10 — The K9 unit was deployed for a positive alert. Cocaine was found in the vehicle.

MAY 7

7:30 a.m., 600 block of Seven Sisters Drive — A woman reported her ex-boyfriend, a fugitive from California, had returned to the Boerne area. The woman provided dispatch with information on his whereabouts.

3:20 p.m., mile marker 533 E. I-10 — A caller reported a vehicle with a child in the backseat who was not in a safety seat. Law enforcement located the vehicle and the woman was detained.

4:14 p.m., 52000 block of E. I-10 — A TxDOT employee reported that people had been camping out under the bridge for a few days. The campers were told they needed to leave the location.

4:29 p.m., on Scenic Loop Road — A caller reported that in the previous two weeks, his catalytic converter had been stolen.

6:33 p.m., mile marker 522 E. I-10 — A caller reported a vehicle was involved in a hit-and-run accident that was driving into Kendall County.
