BOERNE — Boerne Community Theatre’s next production, “The 20-Year Crush,” written by Texas playwright Carl L. Williams and directed by Christine Crowley, is holding auditions May 12 and 13.
This light romantic comedy is about two women, Martie and Janice, who are 20 years out of college. When their college poetry professor and former crush returns to town, sparks fly. It leads to a lot of confusion, laughs, and ultimately, a reality check for everyone involved.
The play hits the BCT stage July 5-21.
The theater is looking for talented actors to fill the following roles:
• Martie Kyle: A 40-year-old woman.
•Janice Starkwell: A 40-year-old woman.
• Tom Kyle: A
40-50-year-old man.
•Brook Oliphant: A 40-50-year-old man.
• Samantha Uberhausen: A 20-year-old woman.
Auditions are set for 7 p.m. May 12 and 13 at The Academy, directly behind the theater on Plant Street.
Scripts are available for 48-hour checkout at the theater so prospective players can get a head start on the lines.
