Greyhound stringers sending four players in three events to regionals

Boerne High hosted this year’s District 27-4A tennis tournament and had four players advance to the Region IV-4A tournament in three events, all on the boys side.

The top two entries in each category advance. Regionals is set for Wednesday and Thursday, May 8-9, at the Blossom courts in San Antonio.

Justin Barraza captured 1st place in boys singles, Ben Rowe and Nick Dube were the district champs in boys doubles, while Owen Labay came in 2nd in boys singles to all advance to regionals.

Garner Graves and Garrett Stevens finished 3rd at regionals to earn bronze and will serve as alternates at regionals.
