Champion, Boerne ranked among best high schools

BOERNE — Both Champion and Boerne high schools were once again named two of the best public high schools in the San Antonio Area by U.S. News and World Report.

Champion was ranked the fourth-best comprehensive, or non-magnet, high school on the list, while Boerne placed 12th. Both Boerne and Champion boast a near-perfect 99% graduation rate.

The publication ranked nearly 19,000 schools, focusing on college readiness, reading and math proficiency, reading and math performance, underserved student performance, college curriculum breadth, and graduation rates.
