Geneva School of Boerne competed at its district meet recently in San Antonio at Holy Cross and the boys came in 6th with 40.33 points and the girls were 8th with 40 points.
Varsity Boys
Brady Chandler won the pole vault after he cleared 13-6 and Chandler was 9th in the long jump with a mark of 17-2.75.
JonMichael Raimondo and Caleb Quitadamo both went 16-7 in the long jump to tie for 14th.
Noah Brunsvold, Reid Aderholt and Reid Wilson all competed in the 100 dash, Quitadamo was 12th in the 200 in 26.39, while Aderholt and Brunsvold both ran in the 200 as well.
Wilson placed 10th in the 400 in 58.27 and Chris Oliver posted a 1:00.18.
Carter Doan clocked in at 2:19 in the 800 for 11th and Brant Allen also completed.
Braden Davis was 7th in the 1600 after running a 5:13, Samuel Crews finished 11th in 5:22, while Davis posted an 11:29 in the 3200 and Crews came in at 12:03.
Reid Aderholt, Brady Chandler, Reid Wilson and Noah Brunsvold competed in the 4x100 relay and teamed up for a 48.19, while the 4x200 of Aderholt, Brunsvold, Caleb Quitadamo and JonMichael Raimondo combined for a 1:40 for 6th, while the 4x400 of Carter Doan, Chris Oliver, Wilson and Brandt Allen posted a 4:02.50.
Stephen Syamken earned points in the shot put after he was 5th with a toss of 38-10, Griffin Miller was 7th at 38-0 and Caleb Baggs went 34-1 for 8th.
Miller finished 4th in the discus with a toss of 123-2, Syamken placed 5th at 123-02 and Greg Gallagher went 94-4, while Carter Doan tied for 8th after he cleared 5-0 in the high jump.
Varsity Girls
Adelina Vela ran in the 100 and was 12th, while Zoe Briggs and Amilia Morgan both competed as well and Briggs and Vela ran in the 200 as well.
Grace Detterick won the 800 with a time of 2:28 and Detterick was 2nd in the 1600 after posting a 5:55.
In the 4x100 relay, Adelina Vela, Amilia Morgan, Francesca Dacy and Olivia Morgan combined for 6th with a time of 56.74.
In field events, Hailey Kirchner won the shot put with a throw of 31-10 and Vela was 10th at 25-7 and Briggs went 23-0.
Kirchner earned bronze in the discus with a toss of 94-9 and Vela went 61-2.
