For something quite out of the ordinary but oh-so-needed ... Many of us just finished preparing our income tax forms, and we now have a lot of sensitive documents that we no longer are required to keep. What to do?
The Comfort Chamber has the answer, sponsoring a Shred Day on May 11. Location is still to be determined, but mostly likely it will be at Comfort Park. Call the chamber office, 830-995-3131, closer to the date to be sure.
For just $5 per box the contents of your box(es) will be shredded on site and disposed of. As a benefit: If you are a member of the Greater Comfort Area Chamber of Commerce, you can have two such boxes shredded for free. You are not required to have your paper in copy paper boxes – the size just gives you an idea of what you might expect to pay for the service.
This is the first ever Shred Day in Comfort. We hope it will be a great success and certainly believe it is something that many of us will appreciate. Start compiling all those papers you no longer need and want no one else to see.
With that, we thank you for taking the time to read this column and for visiting our charming community. As you may already know, here’s where you’ll find Comfort in Texas!
