After beating Bandera last week in three innings, 15-0, the Lady Greyhounds were in action Tuesday at Davenport and defeated the Wolves in five frames, 13-0.

Boerne is 15-4 overall and 2-0 in district. The Hounds are home Friday to host Canyon Lake.

In Tuesday’s game, BHS recorded 15 hits, stole 8 bases and plated 4 runs in the first, another in the second, 3 more in the third and 5 more in the fifth.

Ava Nieto homered in the fourth frame and brought in 2 runs; Taryn Madlock legged out 2 triples and a single, picked up 5 RBI and scored twice; Cameron Cooper doubled and singled, pushed in a run and scored, while Reese Wilson dou bled, collected an RBI and scored twice.

Brooke Sivek hit 2 singles, had an RBI and scored once; Heidi Maytum singled and scored; Ava Rodriguez knocked out 2 singles and scored once; Madi Dorrow hit 2 singles and scored 3 runs and Taylor Wilson singled and scored.

Rodriguez picked up the win from the circle and only allowed 1 hit all night and no runs. She fanned 9 and didn’t walk a batter.
