Greyhounds compete and district, track and field meet

The Greyhound track and field team competed at their district meet last week and the Boerne boys won their first district crown since 2008, while the varsity girls were fourth. 

Some of the athletes advance to this week’s Area week. For more on the district meet, look in this weekend’s Boerne Star. 

After Jonah Greene from Fredericksburg won the race, Boerne’s Barrett Crofut was second at 2:00.60, Fredericksburg’s Derek Adams came in third at 2:00.68 and Wimberley’s Arlen Hanle was fourth at 2:00.70.
