The varsity golf teams from Boerne High played at their district tournaments recently and both finished third.
The top two teams advance to regionals, and while neither Greyhound team moved on, both will be sending individual golfers to regionals to be played at The Club at Colony Creek in Victoria.
The top 2 individuals not on an advancing team move on to regionals.
For BHS, Hannah Vance and Rhyann Tuschinski both qualified for the regional girls tourney, while Jordan Smith made it on the boys side.
The boys tourney is April 15-16 and the girls event is April 17-18, both at Colony Creek.
Varsity Girls
The Lady Greyhounds finished 3rd at the district tournament with a two-day score of 710 (347,363), while Hannah Vance and Rhyann Tuschinski both qualified for the regional tourney.
Davenport won the district tournament with a score of 653 (320,333) and Fredericksburg was 2nd at 683 (340,343) to both advance to regionals.
Wimberley came in 4th (824), followed by Bandera (901) Navarro (943) and Canyon Lake (960) at the girls district tourney held at The Buckhorn in Comfort.
Hannah Vance finished with a 174 to lead BHS with rounds of 85 and 89, Rhyann Tuschinski carded a 178 with rounds of 92 and 86 to both qualify for regionals.
Ria Patel recorded a 180 after she shot an 86 and 94, and Alex Casas and Lila Sherill both scored 184s after Casas turned in rounds of 90 and 94 and Sherrill finished with rounds of 86 and 98.
Varsity Boys
The Boerne boys were 3rd with a two-day score of 651 with rounds of 320 and 331 and will be sending Jordan Smith to the regional tourney.
Fredericksburg took first at the district tourney with a 617 (312,305) and Wimberley was second at 623 (314,309) to advance to regionals.
Canyon Lake was 4th (709), Navarro came in 5th (718), Fredericksburg II placed 6th (745), followed by Bandera (778) and Davenport (789) at The Legends course.
Jordan Smith shot consecutive rounds of 77s for a 154 to advance individually. Brackston Pitts carded rounds of 77 and 81 for a 158, Vincent Namvar scored a 168 after shooting rounds of 82 and 86, Mark Bannwolf finished with a 171 with rounds of 84 and 87, while Crew Baldwin scored a 180 after shooting 91 and 89.
