BOERNE — The Boerne Area Historic Preservation Society will hold the first-ever Historic Hill Festival from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 13 at the Kuhlmann-King Historical Museum, 402 E. Blanco Road.
The festival will highlight important historic buildings such as the Kuhlmann-King House and Pioneer Kitchen, built in 1885; the Graham Building, built in 1891 and moved from its original site on Main Street; the 1874 two-room schoolhouse; and the 1910 two-story school.
Tours, activities for kids, music entertainment, Klein Smokehouse bratwurst, chicken poop bingo and vendors are all on tap to keep visitors entertained. Monies raised will benefit the Kuhlmann King Historic House Museum.
Noah Nilsson performs at 10 a.m. followed by Faith Jacobs at 10:40 a.m. The Anapests take the stage at 11:30 a.m. with the Boerne Village Band set to perform at noon.
Boerne High School German Dancers take over at 1:15 p.m., while Luis Arizpe closes things out beginning at 1:30 p.m.
