The Comfort track and field team competed at the Charlie Dobbs Antler Relays.
CHS was getting ready for its District 5-3A meet at Llano Wednesday and Thursday of this week.
RESULTS (Top 10) Varsity Boys
Jaydin Steward placed 10th in the 100 with an 11.72, Hunter Lackey finished 10th in the 3200 after running a 10:56, Aidan Schwarz placed 7th in the 110 hurdles with an 18.54 and Schwarz was 6th in 46.35.
The 4x200 came in 8th in 1:36 and the 4x400 finished 6th in 3:39.
Schwarz earned more points in the high jump after he placed 7th with a clearance of 5-4, Steward was 5th in the long jump with a mark of 19-6 and Carter Pape came in 7th at 19-3, while Pape was also 8th in the triple jump with a measurement of 37-0.
Terick Rodriguez finished 6th in the discus with a toss of 111-7 and Reilly Tinney was 7th at 110-8.
Varsity Girls
Victoria Kessova finished 4th in the 400 with a time of 1:02 and Brenna Green was 10th at 1:06.
Comfort did well in the 100 hurdles after Molly Gowan was 7th in 18.28, Faith Diaz de Villegas was 8th in 18.38 and Juana Leon came in 9th at 18.57.
Gowan also placed 8th in the 300 hurdles with a time of 51.88 and Leon was 10th at 53.20.
The Deer were 8th in the 4x100 relay at 53.84, they were also 8th in the 4x200 at 1:56 and finished 4th in the 4x400 in 4:18.
Gowan took 5th in the high jump after clearing 4-8 and Victoria Kessova tied for 7th at 4-6, while Kaley Pankratz was 10th in the long jump at 14-11 and was 3rd in the triple jump with a mark of 33-6.5 and Gowan tied for 8th at 30-11.
