Greyhound compete at Antler Relays before district meet

In its final meet before competing in its district contest this week, the Greyhounds were at the Charlie Dobbs Antler Relays in Kerrville.

Boerne’s district meet is set for Wednesday and Thursday of this week at Wimberley.

Varsity Boys

Will Freeman won the 100 after clocking in at 11.08 and Michael Igbo was 6th in 11.50.

Charlie Stahl won the 200 with a time of 22.59, Woody Goen took 2nd in the 400 after posting a 51.10, while Barrett Crofut was 4th in the 800 with a 2:01, Tayson Farar came in 9th in 2:07 and Julian Wasel finished 11th in 2:13.

BHS had four finish in the top seven in the 1600 after Crofut took 2nd with a 4:35, Aaron Garcia came in 4th at 4:38, Carsten Bain was 5th at 4:43 and Tayson Farar finished 7th in 4:50.

Garcia picked up more points in the 3200 after he was 2nd with a time of 9:52, Bain was 5th in 9:54 and Jackson Temple placed 7th in 10:21.

McCoy Bruce won the 110 hurdles after posting a 15.11 and Bruce was also 3rd in the 300 hurdles with a time of 42.62.

The Boerne boys won the 4x100 at 43.29, the 4x200 was 3rd in 1:32 and the 4x400 placed 7th at 3:40.

Nick Kenyon claimed 6th in the high jump after he cleared 5-6, Bryant Driscoll came in 9th in the triple jump with a mark of 36-10, Ryder Dauphin finished 4th in the pole vault with a vault of 11-06, while Logan Schram was 2nd in the shot put with a throw of 47-9250 and Keagan Fischer was 3rd in the event at 45-05.

Varsity Girls

Ocean Valenciano finished 5th in the 100 dash with a time of 13.20, Savannah Seibert came in 3rd in the 200 at 26.29 and Seibert was also 2nd in the 400 after posting a 59.91, while Mary Marino was 5th in the 400 in 1:03 and Lilly Cox placed 6th in 1:04.

Cox also finished 4th in the 800 with a 2:30, Eleanor Davis came in 4th in the 1600 in 5:40 and Keira Sawyer was 11th in 6:06.

Davis took 3rd in the 3200 with a time of 11:46, Genevieve Sengler was 10th in the race at 13:13 and Sawyer placed 11th in 13:20.

Boerne’s 4x100 was 4th in a time of 51.57 and the 4x400 placed 6th at 4:23.

Kendall Lemm won the high jump after she cleared 5-2, Savannah Seibert took 2nd in the long jump at 15-10, Ashlyn Mazur came in 9th in the long jump at 14-11 and Mazur was 8th in the triple jump with a mark of 30-11.

Samantha Sardo placed 6th in the pole vault after she vaulted 8-6, Ella Schram came in 3rd in the discus with a toss of 103-6 and Averi Aaron was 4th in 101-01 and Morgan Naylor was 9th at 88-10.
