LAW ENFORCEMENT 

The following is a brief, partial recap of incidents reported by the Boerne Police Department and the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. General locations are listed rather than specific addresses. An arrest should not imply guilt or innocence, which will be decided in court at a later date. MARCH 20

4:43 a.m., 31000 block of W. Interstate 10 — A security company reported an individual with a hard hat and visibility vest who was walking around the location. The caller said no one was expected to be there during that time.

7:13 a.m., 100 block of W. Highway 46 — A two-vehicle accident was reported, as one vehicle side-swiped another. Emergency services responded to the accident. A male was detained.

1:35 p.m., 100 block of Gallant Fox — A caller was concerned about a domestic dispute in their apartment complex. The caller said they could hear banging and yelling.

3:47 p.m., 800 block of Johns Road — An individual came into the Boerne PD lobby to file a harassment report.

4:26 p.m., on Cascade Caverns — A caller reported a group of teenagers who lived nearby coming into the apartment complex and banging on random doors.

9:06 p.m., 100 block of Dusty Corral — A caller reported a disgruntled former employee who was making threats.

MARCH 21

6:25 a.m., 100 block of Bluebonnet Circle — A caller reported three puppies were wandering around the street. The caller had managed to contain one of them but requested assistance with the other two.

10:33 a.m., 400 block of Bandera Road — Law enforcement was notified of a vehicle with a stolen license plate driving in Boerne.

1:04 p.m., 1300 block of S. Main Street — An employee reported a homeless man was harassing store employees. The employee requested a trespassing citation be issued.

1:52 p.m., 1400 block of S. Main Street — A caller reported someone had fraudulently used the caller’s information to open a business account with the caller’s information.

2:16 p.m., 100 block of City Lake — A caller reported that some people at the lake were letting their dogs off the leash and were letting them chase after the ducks.

MARCH 20

7:13 a.m., 100 block of W. Highway 46 — Two vehicles were involved in an accident when one vehicle side-swiped the other. One of the drivers was temporarily detained.

9:43 a.m., 31000 block of W. I-10 — A caller wanted to report a driver in another vehicle had pulled a gun on the caller.

9:31 p.m., 35000 block of W. I-10 — A caller reported seeing two or three males break into a vehicle. Another vehicle was seen backing up to the initial vehicle. The caller said she saw someone pulling something out of the toolbox. It turned out the males were not stealing the vehicle, and it belonged to them.

MARCH 21

7:38 a.m., 300 block of W. Highway 46 — A caller reported a vehicle hit a guardrail. Luckily there were no injuries. TxDOT was notified of the guardrail damage and the lane was temporarily shut down.

9:02 a.m., on Staudt Street — A caller reported someone called him and extorted money out of him with threats. The caller told dispatch he had given the scammer money and was concerned about the scammer having his information.

9:51 a.m., 300 block of E. Highway 46 — Two cows were out and about, evidently looking to purchase some eclipse glasses for the upcoming event.

1:41 p.m., 100 block of Emerald Hill Road — A woman reported fraud on her bank account.

4:19 p.m., 100 block of Tower Road — A woman who was home alone was concerned about a male who was approaching her residence with an unidentifiable object in his hand. The caller spoke with the male and found he did not speak English. Law enforcement came to the location and found he was a delivery driver who had gone to the wrong address.

5:55 p.m., 100 block of Cibolo Branch — A hummingbird had made himself at home inside this caller’s house. The caller had been trying to remove the hummingbird for several hours but had not been successful.

8:03 p.m., 100 block of Old San Antonio Road — A caller reported that a sealed envelope with “Help me!” written on it had been left on the caller’s vehicle.
