POLICE REPORTS

LAW ENFORCEMENT 

The following is a brief, partial recap of incidents reported by the Boerne Police Department, Kendall County Sheriff’s Department and the Fair Oaks Ranch Police Department. General locations are listed rather than specific addresses. An arrest should not imply guilt or innocence which will be decided in court at a later date. BOERNE POLICE DEPARTMENT March 13

12:50 a.m., 100 block of Elm Street — A caller reported someone was walking around her house. The caller was concerned that the individual was attempting to break in. Law enforcement came to the location and found everything was OK.

1:18 a.m., 100 block of Village Cove — A caller reported three males took off after breaking into a vehicle, fleeing after he went outside with a firearm and yelled at them.

6:11 a.m., 300 block of Fischer Street — A caller reported someone had been consistently texting her for the previous two hours. The texting person had a history of violence and the caller was concerned the individual was in the area.

7:12 a.m., 400 block of W. Bandera Road — An employee reported a customer was doing open carry, despite the sign at the front saying no open carry.

12:35 p.m., 100 block of Medical Drive — A caller reported her tablet had been stolen from her vehicle.

12:39 p.m., 100 block of Medical Drive — OnStar informed law enforcement of a vehicle that had been broken into overnight.

March 14

6:28 a.m., mile marker 543, E. Interstate 10 — Two vehicles were involved in an accident. Both drivers sustained minor injuries and were bleeding. Two wreckers were called for the vehicles— 9:26 a.m., Esser Road/River Road — Law enforcement received an alert that a vehicle with a stolen license plate was in the area.

12:25 p.m., Esser Road/River Road — What began as a traffic stop for a missing tailgate escalated and one of the occupants was detained.

2:22 p.m., 1100 block of Grand Boulevard — An employee reported that the badge printer and normal printer had been stolen from the location. The caller had video surveillance of whoever stole the items.

3:47 p.m., 400 block of Oak Park Drive — A realtor was informed there were people living on one of her properties. Law enforcement went to the location and did not find anyone.

March 15

11:30 a.m., 36000 block of W. I-10 — A caller reported his vehicle had been broken into the night before and items had been stolen.

2:24 p.m., 400 block of W. Bandera Road — A caller reported his son lost his wallet at the movie theater. The caller was able to track the wallet and found that it had moved locations, indicating someone had stolen it.

3:06 p.m., 33000 block of W. I-10 — A caller in the process of moving was concerned about a potentially fraudulent purchase of his RV.

5:56 p.m., 900 block of River Road — A caller reported having continuing issues with people trespassing on her property. This time, the caller was reporting a male who had a kayak on her property.

6:13 p.m., 300 block of Fischer Road — A woman reported her former significant other had stolen her credit card. The woman had already reported it stolen but wanted the matter further documented.

7:21 p.m., 100 block of W. Blanco Road — A caller reported his wallet had been stolen and someone was using his credit cards to make large purchases around town.

March 16

4:32 a.m., 100 block of Alder Woods Road — A caller reported a male and female who were at the caller’s door and refusing to leave. They were alleging their phone was inside the residence.

6:50 a.m., 1300 block of S. Main Street — Two juveniles were reported to be carrying large sticks and banging on things while yelling.

9:52 a.m., 36000 block of W. I-10 — An employee reported that another employee had gone through her purse.

2:02 p.m., Main Street/Bandera Road — A stolen license plate was reported to be on a vehicle driving around town.

2:52 p.m., 100 block of City Lake Road — A caller reported someone on the lake in a boat with a gas motor, which is against city ordinance.

6:04 p.m., 100 block of Arbor Woods — A caller was concerned after finding a vape and a bag of gummies in her daughter’s room.

March 17

3:01 a.m., 100 block of S. Oak Bluff Boulevard — An electrical line fire was reported next to a house. Blue and green sparks were reported to be seen. Bandera Electric was notified and Boerne FD was called to the scene.

10:22 a.m., 100 block of W. Evergreen Street — A caller didn’t recognize a vehicle that kept leaving and coming back to the location during the previous two hours. The vehicle was also parked in front of other houses.

1:27 p.m., 1400 block of S. Main Street — A caller reported a young male had been at the location multiple times that week. The caller said the male was not bothering anyone, but the caller was concerned about the man’s well-being.

3:13 p.m., 100 block of Old San Antonio Road — A dog had escaped the property and was looking for some early St. Patrick’s Day fun.

3:52 p.m., 36000 block of W. I-10 — A caller reported she had accidentally left a bag with $5,000 worth of jewelry at the location. When the caller contacted the location, the bag was missing. 

March 18

10:38 a.m., 100 block of Cold River — A caller reported two males who were going around different vehicles and stealing. The caller was additionally concerned after two vehicles had been broken into the prior week.

12:37 p.m., 100 block of Cold River — A caller reported his vehicle had been broken into.

1:58 p.m., 100 block of Cimarron Creek — A caller was concerned about a vehicle in front of the caller’s property, with the driver attempting to get the caller’s attention.

3:12 p.m., 200 block of Market Street — A manager reported someone had been dumping tires on the property. The caller had video surveillance of the incident.

3:56 p.m., 200 block of S. Main Street — A caller reported his phone had either been missing or was stolen on Sunday.

March 19

2:24 a.m., 1300 block of S. Main Street — A caller reported a vehicle was parked across the street without its lights on. The caller said she did not see a license plate on the vehicle. Law enforcement discovered the occupant was getting some sleep before work.

4:28 a.m., 37000 block of W. I-10 — A caller reported hearing a pounding noise continuing for more than 15 minutes. Law enforcement investigated the matter and found that everything was OK.

8:05 a.m., mile marker 539, W. I-10 — A driver reported a woman standing in the median of the interstate. The caller expressed their concern for the woman’s safety.

12:50 p.m., on Upper Balcones Road — A caller reported two juveniles had entered his house without permission when no one was at the residence. The caller was unsure when this had happened but had video evidence of the incident.

5:27 p.m., 10 block of Upper Balcones Road — A witness reported seeing a vehicle run off the road and into a tree. The driver was hit by the airbag and had cuts on her body. A wrecker was called for the vehicle.

9:40 p.m., 100 block of Old San Antonio Road — A caller reported her underage daughter had been purchasing vape pens from someone in Boerne.

KENDALL COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE 

March 13

6:38 a.m., 200 block of S. FM 3351 — The iPhone alert system notified dispatch of a severe vehicle accident, involving a vehicle with a trailer rolling over. An adult male sustained an injury to one of his eyes. Medical assistance responded to the scene.

7:53 a.m., 600 block of Front Street — A caller reported a male riding a scooter on the interstate without lights on it.

1:49 p.m., 100 block of W. Highway 46 — A van-motorcycle accident was reported. Both lanes of traffic were temporarily shut down. An Aircare helicopter was contacted for immediate medical help. Tow trucks were called for both vehicles.

5:12 p.m., Water Street/Bandera Road — A caller reported her relative had stolen her vehicle. The caller was able to follow the vehicle on the interstate before losing sight of it. Law enforcement was able to locate the vehicle and two juveniles were detained.

March 14: No reports were received for March 14.

March 15

3:57 a.m., 200 block of Mulberry Lane — A single vehicle accident occurred. One of the occupants reported she twisted her ankle and her chin was bloody. The other occupant reported his face was bleeding and his stomach hurt.

10:14 a.m., on Deep Hollow/E Tapatio Drive — A caller reported someone had dumped roof shingles and a couch on the property during the night.

11:27 a.m., 2300 block of FM 473 — A sheep escaped a property and was looking for some fun Friday excitements.

12:02 p.m., 200 block of Zoeller Lane — A caller reported a helicopter was flying close to the caller’s residence. The caller was unsure who was flying the plane but explained that it had happened before.

12:08 p.m., 200 block of Holiday Road — A caller reported she had lost her credit cards in late November. Large purchases had been made on the cards and the caller needed a report for the credit card companies.

March 16

10:56 a.m., on FM 474/Dove Crest Drive — A head-on accident occurred, leaving one of the occupants trapped in the vehicle. Law enforcement temporarily shut down both lanes of traffic. EMS was contacted for medical support.

1:30 p.m., on FM 1621/Woodridge Subdivision — A dozen goats had gotten out and seemed to be looking for a place to have lunch.

March 17

1:13 a.m., mile marker 545, E. I-10 — Two vehicles were involved in a wreck on the exit ramp. The ramp was temporarily closed as a wrecker was called for the vehicle.

1:12 p.m., 400 block of Water Street — A caller was concerned about a skunk in the area that was acting odd and moving erratically.

9:09 p.m., 100 block of S. Wagon Wheel Drive — A caller reported seeing a large fire and said it smelled as though plastic was burning. Law enforcement came to the location and found it was a controlled burn, but that it was construction materials being burned.

9:48 p.m., mile marker 535, E. I-10 — A caller reported his tire came off, causing his car to roll over. The caller reported his arm was injured and he required medical assistance. An ambulance was called for those injured in the accident.

March 18

4:40 a.m., 100 block of July Lane — A male called in that he was scared; dispatch reported hearing a woman yelling in the background. The caller later revealed he wanted to rant about being lured into a hotel by prostitutes.

5:14 p.m., 100 block of N. Wagon Wheel Drive — A caller reported a truck circling the neighborhood and stopping to speak with the caller’s son. The driver said he wanted to come on the property to see the caller’s backyard and take photos. When the caller came out, the vehicle quickly drove away.

7:09 p.m., 400 block of Front Street — A fire was reported to have started in a parking lot. The fire did not spread, and a wet towel helped extinguish it. Comfort FD came to the location and successfully extinguished the rest of the fire.

9:04 p.m., 10 block of Shooting Club Road — A caller reported a vehicle parked in the area with its rear doors open and the back of the vehicle full of stuff. Law enforcement arrived and found the vehicle’s owner was feeding animals in the area.
