LAW ENFORCEMENT The following is a brief, partial recap of incidents reported by the Boerne Police Department and the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. General locations are listed rather than specific addresses. An arrest should not imply guilt or innocence, which will be decided in court at a later date. BOERNE POLICE DEPARTMENT
March 1
1:13 a.m., 540 MM I-10 W.- An individual was arrested during a traffic stop.
4:51 a.m., 825 Johns Rd.- A man made little sense to dispatchers when he said an officer came in and took photos with his Apple Watch before driving off in his vehicle. He said they were supposed to pick him back up, but they left him standing outside for two hours.
10:17 a.m., 1430 S. Main St.- A man reported the catalytic converter on his work vehicle was stolen.
12:05 p.m., 100 block Old San Antonio Rd.- A city employee was concerned about a 5- or 6-year-old child walking a dog by themselves. The public staffer monitored the child, who began looking back at him and trying to hide.
12:24 p.m., 100 block Clear Sky- A woman reported her 15-year-old son was high on weed and wouldn’t get in her car after she had to pick him up from Champion High School.
Officers also conducted 32 security checks, made 19 traffic stops, assisted the public 15 times, removed two traffic hazards and worked five false alarms, two non-injury accidents and two reckless drivers.
March 2
12:22 a.m., 536 MM I-10 E.- A truck flipped on the interstate, but no major injuries were reported. The driver was able to get out of the truck.
7:42 a.m., 100 block Firefly- A woman was upset about an RV parked in a cul-de-sac that was blocking traffic.
11:44 a.m., 201 Charger Blvd.- A 14-year-old student at Champion High School passed out and hit his head. He was taken to the nurse’s station while medics made their way there.
1:54 p.m., 100 block Lodge Springs- A woman reported hearing gunshots all day. She suspected someone was hunting nearby.
8:43 p.m., 33500 block I-10 W.- A driver reported two men were walking in between the interstate and access road, shining lights at vehicles as they drove by. 9:14 p.m., 420 W. Bandera Rd.- An

Officers also conducted 19 secu rity checks, made 12 traffic stops, assisted the public 14 times, removed a traffic hazard and worked three false alarms, two animal calls and one reckless driver.
KENDALL COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT
March 1
10:02 a.m., 300 block Sharon Dr.- A woman had a question about her rights as a renter because her landlord kept entering the property.
3:17 p.m., 100 block Rolling Creek- A 17-month-old infant stopped breathing. While the baby began breathing again before first responders could arrive, a woman asked that the child be checked out.
8:51 p.m.,524 MM I-10 E.- A man reported another driver was speeding up to 100 miles per hour to pass him then slamming on their brakes repeatedly.
Deputies also made 14 traffic stops, assisted the public 16 times, removed a traffic hazard and worked two reckless drivers.
March 2
12:09 a.m., 100 block Talavera- A woman arrived home to find her back door had been tampered with. Previously, she had responded to a man on a community Facebook account to clean the air ducts in her home. She believes he may have used the information she provided to find out when she was gone from home.
12:22 p.m., 6 Staudt St.- A man was concerned his friend reported the car he was borrowing stolen.
3:01 p.m., 300 block Fifth St.- An employee with child protective services asked that deputies remain on the scene while she checked on a family, noting the father in the household had a history of violence.
5:58 p.m., 700 Kreutzberg Rd.- A woman called 911 when her 62-year-old husband passed out, and their 18-year-old sone began performing CPR. She suspected he hit his head when he fell because there was blood. Although the son conducted chest compressions and mouth-to-mouth, the man was reported dead by 6:30 p.m.
Deputies also made 32 traffic stops, assisted the public 14 times, removed two traffic hazards, served a warrant and worked four false alarms, two non-injury accidents and three reckless drivers.
March 3
1:17 a.m., 600 block Deer Rd.- A man in Houston was concerned when a neighbor notified him someone was running machines on his property. Deputies found someone was working on the fence at the location.
11:53 a.m., 100 block FM 474- A woman in an orange shirt and vest picking up trash on the side of the road was concerned about a buzzard hobbling around.
5:06 p.m., 600 block Marquise- A woman called 911 after her 62-yearold cousin told her to call police if she didn’t hear from her in 30 minutes. A Best Buy employee was installing a new appliance, and all was fine.
Deputies also conducted a security check, made 21 traffic stops, assisted the public 19 times, removed three traffic hazards and worked four false alarms, one animal call and two reckless drivers.
