BOERNE — Jeremy Pratt is running as a candidate for Boerne City Council District 1.
Pratt said he is “deeply invested in the prosperity and well-being of the community and is fully committed to listening to the will of the people” and ensuring City Council represents the citizens’ wishes.
Pratt is an engineer in networking and cyber security of 29 years, in roles from staff engineer to architecture, management, consulting and sales. “This role was not only technical in nature but involved budgeting, contract negotiation, working with government resources and construction professionals,” he said.
A proud dad of two boys, he moved to Boerne three years ago and fell in love with the people, events, and the Hill Country. Pratt said he loves to ride his motorcycle around the area, to see the open space and the natural beauty of the Hill Country.
A proud son of a Vietnam veteran and Silver Star recipient, Pratt’s grandfather fought in World War II and was aboard the USS Tennessee Dec. 7 at Pearl Harbor.
Raised in a conservative home by heroes, Pratt believes in constitutional ideals. He is an avid backer of the military, veterans, law enforcement, firefighters, paramedics, teachers, nurses and many more individuals in harm’s way.
Pratt is committed “to listening to your concerns, advocating for your needs, and working tirelessly to make our city the best it can be for all its residents,” he said.
Pratt said he needs the support, input and vote to bring about positive changes the community needs and deserves. “Together, we can maintain a city that we are all proud to call home.”
“I look forward to earning your trust and your vote on May 4,” he said. He can be reached at: [email protected], or on Facebook: Jeremy Pratt for Boerne City Council District 1.
