FAIR OAKS RANCH — The Rotary Club of Fair Oaks Ranch on March 13 presented a $5,000 check in support of the Casa del Aguila — “Eagle House” — orphanage and school, during its regular club meeting.

The orphanage serves the needs of orphaned and abandoned children of indigenous families in the Andes Mountains near Limatambo, Peru. Casa del Aguila has a very close tie to Fair Oaks Ranch since Ralph Fair Jr., who drove the establishment of The Ranch in the 1970s, was instrumental in the founding and development of the orphanage and school in the mid-1990s.

The FOR Rotary Club became involved in supporting Casa del Aguila not long after the club was formed in 2012.
