COMMUNITY GARAGE SALE is slated for 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Kendall County Fair Grounds. The 11th annual event will feature two halls plus outside vendors selling their garage sale items. Food/drink concessions will be available; free admission.
FRIENDS OF GUADALUPE River State Park will lead a rare tour of the Doeppenschmidt Weidner Ranch in Honey Creek State Natural Area. Explore the ranch site of the earliest settlers, learn about ranching in the early-mid 20th century, visit the grave of Jacob Doeppenschmidt (d. 1872) and meet some of the Weidner descendants. $20 for Friends members, $30 for non-members. EASTER EGG HUNT at the Boerne City Lake Park from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Children are welcome to the 18th annual event, sponsored by The Boerne Police Officers Association and the city’s Parks and Recreation Department. Special appearance by the Easter Bunny.
