Betty Gardner and Kathy Hassenger earned gold medals in the women’s doubles 70+ at the Texas Senior Pickleball Games held at Morgan’s Wonderland in San Antonio, Friday, March 8.
The doubles team became eligible to play in the National Senior Games in Des Moines, Iowa. Pickleball is played every morning at the Boerne City Park from 8:30 – 11 a.m. It’s mostly an over 50-age group but all are welcome.
A new facility is in the process of being built next to the YMCA. The courts should be ready for play in 2025.
