Join our art partners at Carriage House Gallery today, March 16, from 4-7 p.m. to help celebrate the arrival of spring, with an evening of fun.
Bluebonnets are blooming, so the artists of Carriage House Gallery are tipping their creative hats to the beautiful flower that Texas calls its own.
Enjoy interpretations of these beautiful springtime flowers while visiting with the artists and hear about their inspirations and techniques. There will be wine, lite bites, and music.
You might also take a moment to say hello to Boerne Art Waddle’s featured artist, Susan Baker Logrbrinck, and preview her stunning fine-fiber artworks.
You will find the gallery chock-a-block full of art, and in a variety of mediums. Among the many artists whose artworks will be on display, we suggest you seek out the tiny treasures of Bonnie Mann, who says, “In each and every still life and landscape painting, I strive to convey the beauty I see daily all around me.”
Linda Chalberg, who enjoys painting en plein air with watercolors, describes her preferred experience as “soaking up the sights, sounds and smells; feeling the heat of the sun or the blast of a cold wind; holding a paintbrush in one hand while grabbing a bite of local food with the other, all combine to help me capture what I feel.”
Darryl Patrick says he seeks to find something in composing his photographs “that speaks about the humanity and the irony of life, sans people.”
