Just as its name implies, Texas Heritage Bank held a celebration on its Main Street bank branch lawn March 1, one day prior to the March 2, 1836, anniversary of the declaration of independence from Mexico, which officially established the Republic of Texas. Food was served and music provided for the customers’ entertainment.
