One of Boerne’s earliest settlers was recognized March 3 during a headstone installation at the Boerne Cemetery. This project is a collaboration with the Patrick Heath Public Library, the Boerne Parks and Recreation Department, and the Genealogical Society of Kendall County. Mathias Baumann’s headstone is the second headstone installed by the library.
