Boerne High played in the Seguin softball tournament last weekend where they played six games and went 1-5 at the event.
BHS is 10-10-1 overall and hosted Jourdanton Tuesday before visiting Hondo Friday.
At the tourney, the Lady Hounds opened with a 17-5 loss to Del Valle.
Breanna Krause led the Boerne bats with 2 doubles, while Taylor Wilson hit a home run and Riley Partin singled.
Wilson and Krause both scored 2 runs and Brooklynn Thomason added a run. Partin picked up 2 RBI.
Jesseanna Aguirre and Ava Renteria both pitched in the game.
Up next, Boerne battled with Laredo United but lost 10-7 after they outhit the Lady Horns, 10-7.
Ava Renteria homered and singled, scored twice and picked up 2 RBI. Taylor Wilson tripled and scored, while Brooklynn Thomason doubled and singled, scored a run and picked up an RBI.
Cerissa Nasis and Riley Partin hit 2 singles each and Nasis plated 2 runs and took 2 walks.
Wilson and Jesseanna Aguirre both pitched in the game.
Up next, the Lady Hounds lost to Weslaco, 10-1, in three innings.
They had two hits, a homer by Ava Renteria and a single from Riley Partin.
Jesseanna Aguirre went all 3 innings in the circle.
The Boerne girls dropped the next two games by the identical score of 7-0 against Robstown and PSJA Southwest.
Against Robstown, BHS had 4 hits but couldn’t score. Breanna Krause and Jesseanna Aguirre both doubled, while Cerissa Nasis and Maddie Vasquez both singled.
Aguirre went all 6 innings and gave up 9 hits but only 2 earned runs.
Against PSJA, Boerne finished with 3 hits but couldn’t score. Breanna Krause doubled, Ava Renteria and Ryleigh Hastings both singled.
Jesseanna Aguirre pitched and gave up 8 hits and fanned 2.
Boerne closed out the game with a 14-1 win over Roma, behind 13 hits.
Brynnan Bex doubled, picked up 2 RBI and scored twice, Lizzy Thornton doubled and singled and scored a run, Maddie Vasquez doubled, picked up 3 RBI and scored, while Riley Partin doubled and singled, drove in 3 runs and scored twice.
Breanna Krause hit 3 singles and scored twice, Ryleigh Hastings hit 2 singles and scored 3 runs, Emma Wright singled, scored and drove in 2 runs and Brooklynn Thomason singled, scored and drove in a run.
Jesseanna Aguirre went 3 innings and gave up 1 hit and 1 run.
