LAW ENFORCEMENT
The following is a brief, partial recap of incidents reported by the Boerne Police Department and the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. General locations are listed rather than specific addresses. An arrest should not imply guilt or innocence, which will be decided in court at a later date. FEB. 21
8:01 a.m., 100 block of N. Highway 87 – A caller was concerned about school shooting threats. The caller had seen messages on social media that someone was making threats against the school students.
10:40 a.m., 41000 block of Interstate 10 – A caller reported an RV had been parked at his location for about 10 days. The caller was unsure who it belonged to but was sure he had not given anyone permission.
4:11 p.m., 200 block of Wall Street – A caller reported that someone had come onto his property and stolen his water heater.
8:02 p.m., N. Highway 87 – A caller reported a hit-and-run accident happening in the parking lot around an hour prior.
11:02 p.m., mile marker 533, E. I-10 - A manager reported one of his employees had been assaulted by another company’s employees. The employee sustained a head injury and was taken to a hospital.

3:15 a.m., 100 block of N. Wagon Wheel Drive – A caller reported that a mattress, among other things, was on fire close to their home. The caller said there were four people in the home, but they quickly evacuated. Boerne FD was called to the scene and extinguished the fire.
6:38 a.m., Highway 46/FM 3351 – A disgruntled caller was unamused by how long the traffic light was taking and reported a long line at the light.
11:06 a.m., 28000 block of Benedikt Path – A caller reported receiving a call from an individual claiming to be with the Sheriff’s Office. The caller reported that she had contacted Bexar County law enforcement because that is where she resides but was told to contact KCSO instead.
3:22 p.m., mile marker 539, E. I-10 – A white bus with a temporary tag from California was pulled over and the K-9 unit was deployed. There was a positive K-9 alert.
6:26 p.m., mile marker 524, W. I-10 – A caller reported a sports car was driving slow in one of the lanes of the interstate. When the caller tried to pass the vehicle, the vehicle flashed red and blue lights at the caller.
8:03 p.m., Main Street/School Street – Law enforcement received an alert that a vehicle with a stolen license plate was driving in Boerne.

10:33 a.m., 100 block of Walnut Grove Road – A caller reported her mail had been stolen, including financial and medical information. The caller added that her neighbors were also missing mail.
11:06 a.m., 700 block of Altgelt Street – An individual was reported to be intoxicated when he came through the location’s drive-thru.
11:11 a.m., 200 block of Woodland Boulevard – A caller reported a vehicle was parked in the area and appeared to have been loitering all day. Law enforcement located the vehicle and found the occupants were with a political organization and were going door-to-door.
12:07 p.m., FM 1376/Wasp Creek Bridge – Several cows had gotten out and, suffering from the unexpected heat, were looking for a creek to cool off in.
1:18 p.m., Staudt Street – A caller was told he had three warrants out for his arrest, totaling over $3,200. The caller provided all relevant information regarding the ongoing scam to dispatch.

1:15 a.m., 100 block of Caprock Circle – A housesitting caller reported the owner’s dogs began barking very loudly. The caller was concerned someone had entered the house because she couldn’t remember if she had locked the doors and garage. Law enforcement came and checked out the location and found that everything was OK.
8:28 a.m., 200 block of Wall Street – A caller who lives in Houston but owns property in the area reported someone had stolen a water heater from one of his mobile homes. Later in the day, law enforcement contacted the caller who found his relative had taken the water heater.
3:37 p.m., mile marker 542, W. I-10 – A caller reported a vehicle with paper temporary tags was swerving in and out of traffic. Several other callers reported the vehicle as it was almost causing accidents. Law enforcement located the vehicle, performed a field sobriety test and the woman was taken into custody.
2:44 p.m., 100 block of Spring Creek Road – A loose cow was going for an afternoon stroll.
3:54 p.m., on Pfeiffer Road – A caller reported he was helping an elderly woman who was walking down the road. The woman’s husband pulled up and shoved the caller’s mother. A verbal argument ensued, and law enforcement came to the location.
7:25 p.m., Main Street/School Street – Law enforcement was informed of a stolen vehicle in the area.

3:19 a.m., School Street/N Main Street – A caller reported a male who was passed out behind the wheel of his vehicle. The male was unresponsive but breathing. EMS was contacted.
9:24 a.m., mile marker 543, W. I-10 – A two-vehicle accident occurred. A witness reported that a third vehicle had caused the accident by running one of the vehicles off the road. One of the occupants involved was 8 months pregnant and experiencing pain. The third vehicle was located by law enforcement.
1:31 p.m., 900 block of W. Highway 46 – A caller reported that there was an “old hot rod” on fire near the gas pumps. Bergheim FD was called to the scene and found the vehicle was not on fire but was experiencing mechanical problems.
3:46 p.m., on Doeskin Drive – A caller reported a large tow truck in front of his residence. The caller suspected it was in relation to kids throwing rocks at a neighbor’s house the previous night.
4:23 p.m., 100 block of N. Wagon Wheel Drive – A dog was reported to have bitten a resident of this location.
4:56 p.m., 200 block of Front Street – A caller reported a vehicle had been missing for around 10 minutes. Shortly thereafter, the caller contacted dispatch to inform them they had located the vehicle.

4:20 a.m., 100 block of S. FM 3351 – A horse or donkey (the caller was unsure which one it was) was wandering down the side of the road.
6:50 a.m., 500 block of Fourth Street – A caller reported they had trapped a cat who they suspect may be pregnant. Not wanting to be the one who brought the kitten into the world, the caller requested assistance.
7:17 a.m., on N. Front Street – A caller reported his dog had been attacked by the neighbor’s dog and the caller’s dog had suffered a broken leg.
10:29 a.m., 500 block of E. Highway 46 – A caller reported hearing two vehicles racing in the parking lot. The caller said they were able to see smoke from the cars burning rubber.
12:26 p.m., 600 block of FM 473 – A female motorcyclist, without a helmet, was involved an accident and was unconscious. An ambulance was called to the scene. An AirEvac was also requested and transported the woman to a hospital.
2:33 p.m., 800 block of Front Street – A business manager requested a trespass citation against a male who had become an ongoing issue. Law enforcement contacted the individual, who was taken into custody.
7:50 p.m., 300 block of N. Walnut Way – A caller reported a topless female who was standing up in a moving convertible.

9:42 a.m., 100 block of Acker Road – An individual who was doing a property inspection wanted to let law enforcement know he was on the location. The prior year during his inspection, someone had contacted the police and they came to the location.
11:15 a.m., 10 block of Jennifer Drive – A caller was concerned about a dog with a chain around his neck, running down the road.
2:45 p.m., 100 block of W. Highway 46 – A caller reported a male on a motorcycle was recklessly passing vehicles. The driver wrecked and then ran away from the accident. Law enforcement located the male and he was taken into custody.
4:06 p.m., 38000 block of E. I-10 – A caller reported a male in a vehicle who was slumped over onto the passenger side. Emergency services found the male was suffering from a medical complication and was not intoxicated. The male received the appropriate medical attention.
6:13 p.m., on Truss Street – A caller reported a male who had chosen to urinate on private property. Based on his swaying, the caller suspected the male was intoxicated.
7:32 p.m., on Dodge Road – A caller was requesting advice from the game warden when he found himself with a baby deer who didn’t have a mother.
