BOERNE — Geneva School of Boerne grammar students, faculty and parents Feb. 16 mobilized across Boerne for the school’s annual “Love Thy Neighbor Day.”

Thie event, in honor of Valentine’s Day, is celebrated each year by Geneva’s grammar school to encourage students to be other-focused and show Christ’s love to the Boerne community.

Students visited city and county officials, police, fire, sheriff and EMS offices to express gratitude for all they do to protect and serve their citizens.

Students also assisted several area ministries, visited nursing homes, picked up trash and swept store fronts on Main Street, assisted with various projects at Hill Country Daily Bread and painted and mulched at Cibolo Nature Center’s Herff Farms.
