The Geneva School of Boerne soccer teams both were involved in Area playoff matches with the girls winning and the boys getting tripped up to end their season.
The Geneva girls defeated Lagos Prep Academy in the Area round at home and advances to the regional round after their 4-0 victory.
The Lady Eagles play Bay Area Christian at LaGrange High School, Saturday at 1 p.m., for the regional championship and a berth to the state tournament on the line.
