After a dramatic win over Cypress Christian last Tuesday, the Geneva School of Boerne boys basketball team was hoping to ride that momentum into Saturday’s regional contest against St. Thomas Episcopal.
But the Saints dashed those hopes after they defeated the Eagles Saturday in Hallettsville, 76-56, to end Geneva’s season one round short of the state tournament. They finish the year at 23-8.
