Hundreds savor ‘Hollywood Night’ mixer

The Boerne Star rolled out the red carpet on Thursday for the hundreds of guests who turned out for the Greater Boerne Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours Mixer. With music pumping and strobe lights flashing, guests arrived and walked the red carpet, laid between velvet theater ropes, upon entering the shindig.

Temperatures remained in the upper 80s for the two-hour event — “chamber of commerce weather” — as chamber members and interested guests gathered to share ideas, discussion and business cards. Attendees enjoyed the catered delights from The Hungry Horse Restaurant and Catering. Giveaways, including free subscriptions, newspaper space and free advertisements, were handed out to those lucky enough to have their business cards pulled from a fish bowl.

Boerne Star staff thank the chamber and their guests and look forward to attending the next chamber mixer.

Delicious catered food from The Hungry Horse Restaurant brought chamber members and friends to the Boerne Star for fun, discussion and prizes.
