Valentines for Seniors

We are excited to announce that the “Heart for a Heart: Valentine’s for Seniors” youth program went splendidly. It was so lovely to see the children give their time and effort in making a Valentine to lighten a senior’s day.

In total, we collected nearly 100 valentines which were delivered to the seniors at Care Choice of Boerne. Thank you to all the little ones who made a senior’s Valentine’s Day special.

Camerata San Antonio coming to the library

Grammy-nominated Camerata San Antonio will perform a children's concert featuring classical chamber music by Ludwig van Beethoven, Dame Ethel Smyth, and Coleridge-Taylor Perkinson at the Patrick Heath Public Library at 10:30 a.m. March 23.

The violin, viola and cello will be introduced, and time will be reserved for questions from young curious listeners. The performer lineup includes Laura Scalzo, violin; Emily Freudigman, viola; Ken Freudigman, cello and speaker.

Easter Storytime at Herff Farms

Hop on over and join us for an enchanting Easter Storytime extravaganza at the picturesque Herff Farmers Market Farmhouse beginning at 10:30 a.m. on March 16.

Prepare to be whisked away into a world of whimsy and wonder as we unveil a delightful array of holiday-themed tales.

But that's not all. In addition to the enchanting narratives, we'll serenade you with lively tunes that will have toes tapping and hearts singing. Children will also get the chance to create a cute craft to take home.

And what would a celebration be without delectable treats? Snacks will be provided for the little ones to enjoy. For the finale, a thrilling miniegg hunt awaits, promising excitement and laughter as they scurry to uncover hidden treasures amidst the charming surroundings.
