LAW ENFORCEMENT 

The following is a brief, partial recap of incidents reported by the Boerne Police Department and the Kendall County Sheriff ’s Office. General locations are listed rather than specific addresses. An arrest should not imply guilt or innocence, which will be decided in court at a later date. FEB. 7

2:38 a.m., 800 block of Johns Road – A caller reported hearing a male banging on her door and saying they were going to kill her. Law enforcement contacted the male, who was combative with the officer.

5:04 a.m., 31000 block of W. Interstate 10 – A caller reported a customer who was refusing to leave. The caller told dispatch she suspected the customer was intoxicated. Emergency services found it was a medical issue and an ambulance was contacted.

9:03 a.m., 800 block of Johns Road – A caller reported her ex-boyfriend was destroying her apartment. He did not have any weapons but was throwing the caller’s things around the apartment. The caller had gone outside and was waiting for law enforcement to arrive.

1:28 p.m., 1500 block of S. Main Street – A caller reported a male who had stolen around $400 worth of tools. The caller said the man drove off in a vehicle with out-of-state plates.

5:02 p.m., 100 block of Sandy Shoal – A caller reported several of her social media accounts had been hacked. The caller suspected an individual she had met at a bar.

5:20 p.m., 200 block of Oak Park Drive – A caller reported that she was house-watching for her parents and found the front door open and the porch was vandalized.

FEB. 8

12:08 a.m., 100 block of Menger Springs – An allegedly intoxicated male was refusing to leave the location and was laying on the floor. Law enforcement took the male into custody and transported him to jail.

3:45 a.m., 100 block of Whisper Way – A caller said he saw his vehicle had been stolen, via his video doorbell. The caller provided a description of the male who stole the vehicle.

6:46 a.m., 36000 block of W I-10 – A reserve police officer found her police vehicle’s window had been shattered and someone had stolen her tactical vest.

12:02 p.m., 31000 block of W I-10 – A former employee was reportedly making death threats over the phone to the location.

2:39 p.m., 31000 block of W I-10 – Someone came into the lobby to report being a victim of a case of fraud, at a local gas station.

3:22 p.m., 100 block of Whisper Way – A caller reported seeing a male wearing a leather dog mask trespass on a neighbor’s property. The male proceeded to charge his phone on an outside outlet, as one typically does when wearing a leather dog mask. The caller told dispatch he had successfully gotten the male to leave the property.

10:11 a.m., 100 block of City Park Road – A caller was concerned about a male running on the trail behind her. The caller said the man trailing behind was not dressed for running and had an angry look on his face.

11:28 a.m., 1300 block of S. Main Street – A caller reported delivery drivers in the parking lot who were taking customers’ packages.

2:57 p.m., 600 block of W. Bandera Road – A customer reported two males were going around the store, asking people for a ride. Law enforcement came to the location and detained one of the males.

6:40 a.m., 100 block of Old San Antonio Road – A caller reported a pole had been struck by lightning.

8:16 a.m., 100 block of Clear Water – A caller reported his girlfriend had assaulted him the previous night.

8:47 a.m., 800 block of Johns Road – A caller reported hearing a female “screaming bloody murder,” and could hear things being thrown, in an upstairs apartment.

12:35 p.m., Bandera Road/ Main Street – A caller reported two female panhandlers on separate corners.

7:10 p.m., 800 block of Johns Road – A caller was concerned about a dog in her apartment complex. She said she could hear the dog whining all the time, in addition to a dog whining inside the apartment. While the caller was on the phone with dispatch, the apartment tenant brought the dog inside.

10:17 a.m., 100 block of Giverny Street – A caller reported hearing loud noises from the location and suspected there was drug use going on. The caller added they could smell marijuana.

1:20 p.m., 100 block of Chaparral Creek Drive – A caller reported two males in the area who the caller suspected were casing houses.

10:05 p.m., mile marker 543, I-10 – A caller reported an elderly man’s vehicle hit the back of another vehicle. One of the involved drivers suffered whiplash. A witness explained an 18-wheeler had caused the accident but had already left the location. One of the lanes was temporarily shut down while the accident was cleared.

7:08 a.m., 100 block of Rock Canyon Drive – A caller was concerned about a male with a backpack and hoodie who had been pacing back and forth for over an hour. Law enforcement found the male was waiting for his boss to arrive.

9:03 a.m., 100 block of W. Cibolo Drive – A caller reported her husband’s vehicle had been broken into during the night.

9:35 a.m., 600 block of Irons Street – A caller who was home alone was concerned about a male who was pacing in front of her house.

11:17 a.m., 700 block of River Road – A caller reported someone had illegally dumped items, including construction materials and furniture, at the location.

6:10 p.m., 100 block of Crosspoint Road – A caller reported hearing a loud bang and was concerned it was a gunshot or explosion. Law enforcement went to the location to examine the situation.

FEB. 13

10:02 a.m., 1400 block of S. Main Street – A caller reported a vehicle had been at the location for over a week. The caller was unsure who the vehicle belonged to.

1:35 p.m., 800 block of N. Main Street – A caller reported a male who was sitting behind the business, yelling and swearing at customers. The manager of the store called several hours later to report the male had made the bold choice to pull down his pants.

6:31 p.m., 20 block of Herff Road – A caller reported they had been rear-ended at the traffic stop and the other vehicle drove away. The caller said they suspected the other driver was intoxicated.

8:11 p.m., 500 block of E. Blanco Road – A male wearing all black was reported to be lying on the side of the road.

8:53 p.m., 100 block of S. Main Street – A business owner reported that a customer was harassing one of his servers. Once outside, the customer began continuously circling the parking lot in his vehicle.

FEB. 7

11:27 a.m., on Staudt Street – A caller said about $1,700 had been fraudulently charged to her credit card. The caller was told to bring in the statements so that a report could be completed.

1:04 p.m., 1300 block of S. Main Street – A caller reported a male on a bicycle who was looking into vehicles in the parking lot.

1:15 p.m., 200 block of FM 474 – A caller reported her garbage cans had been stolen from the road. The caller said she had looked around her property but was unable to locate them.

2:59 p.m., 100 block of N. Blue Ridge, Comfort – A park manager reported that a resident believed someone was living in his trailer while he was out of town. Law enforcement did not find anyone living in the trailer.

7:20 p.m., 300 block of FM 474 – Two cows had escaped and were looking for a nice spot to have an evening picnic.

3:24 a.m., 100 block of Blue Ridge – A caller reported there were people walking around the property who knew “how to stay out of view of the cameras.” The caller was also concerned about an increase in odd activities on the property recently.

6:23 a.m., 3000 block of FM 473 – A dump truck rolled over and crashed through a barbed wire fence. The driver climbed out of the vehicle and an ambulance was called.

8:56 a.m., N. Highway 87 – A caller reported they had a biologist come to their property for a survey and the biologist found encampments at the location. Law enforcement was able to locate the encampment but were w ate unable to tell if it was occupied.

1:23 p.m., 30000 block of W. I-10 – A parts manager wanted to report a theft that occurred back in November.

4:21 p.m., on FM 473/Seven Sisters Drive – A caller was concerned about a male with a backpack who was walking on the side of the road.

6:53 p.m., 100 block of Walnut Grove Road – A caller reported he had dropped off his vehicle at this location eight months prior and had paid $20,000 but no progress had been made on the vehicle.

1:09 a.m., 100 block of N. Wagon Wheel Drive – A loose sheep was going for a midnight run down the road.

3:43 a.m., mile marker 537, W. I-10 – Law enforcement reported a vehicle going 105 mph on the interstate. The vehicle had slowed to 65 mph, but law enforcement pulled the vehicle over and detained the driver.

9:55 a.m., 100 block of Rodalyn Drive – A caller reported a woman had jumped a fence to get on his property and was going through his house. The woman, his former “significant other,” was yelling at him. The woman then called in to report that the caller was keeping her out of the room her belongings were in.

11:07 a.m., 100 block of Cool Rock – A caller reported receiving harassing text messages from his ex-wife. The caller said his ex-wife would come into his home unannounced, without invitation.

4:59 p.m., on Staudt Street – A caller reported receiving a phone call from someone pretending to be a Kendall County deputy, explaining that the caller owed $2,500.

6:04 p.m., 10 block Upper Cibolo Creek Road – A caller reported two cows that were stuck in the front entrance of the park after trying to get away from it all.

FEB 10

11:17 a.m., on Highway 87/ North Creek Road – A dozen goats were reported to be looking for a place for a Saturday morning brunch.

11:51 a.m., 900 block of E. Highway 46 – A caller was concerned about a dead fox that may have had rabies.

4:59 p.m., 200 block Madrone Trail – A caller reported her son for credit card fraud.

6:03 p.m., 29000 block of W. I-10 – A caller reported a motorcycle had passed the caller going about 100 mph. Law enforcement located the vehicle and it had slowed down.

8:59 p.m., 100 block of Blue Ridge, Comfort – A caller reported that the prior day someone had attempted to break into the caller’s vehicle.

FEB. 11

2:09 a.m., 100 block of Blue Ridge – A caller reported three women in the area who were wearing hoodies and going near people’s homes.

9:12 p.m., 100 block of Live Oak Circle – A caller reported her mother had shut off her water three weeks prior and wanted assistance from law enforcement.

11:31 p.m., mile marker 537, E. I-10 – A male was detained and taken into custody after a traffic stop.

FEB. 12

3:03 a.m., 200 block of Sixth Street – A caller reported two males in all black clothing who were attempting to break into the caller’s vehicle. The males then took off running down the street. Law enforcement came to the location and the caller said the males were using a metal hanger on his vehicle before they ran. They were unable to locate the males.

9:14 a.m., 600 block of Esperanza Boulevard – A caller reported two males had broken into the clubhouse over the weekend, damaged the doors, and stole Valentine’s Day items.

9:52 a.m., 100 block of Acorn Circle – A caller reported construction materials worth $1,200 were stolen.

10:12 a.m., Seewald Road – A caller reported someone in the Dallas area had been using the caller’s Social Security number and was charging things to the caller’s name.

7:50 p.m., 100 block of Old Fredericksburg Road – A caller reported her husband had told her about an odd-looking bag on the side of the road. Her husband had stopped to look inside the bag and found an assortment of items including saline, ammunition nition and shock collars.
