Last Friday’s game was nip and tuck until the Bears pulled away with a strong fourth quarter.
Brentwood tallied 21 points in the fourth quarter behind five 3-pointers to get some separation.
The Austin School was leading 33-24 at the break and took a 41-34 advantage into the fourth quarter. That’s when the Bears heated up from the outside and outscored the Eagles in the final stanza, 21-10.
Geneva only hit two buckets in the fourth quarter, a 3 from Caleb Quitadamo and a 2-pointer from Colton Lutz. Their other five points came at the line.
