The Geneva School of Boerne girls team hosted Hill Country Christian Friday night in the second round of their district tournament and beat the Austin school, 77-41.
Geneva improves to 25-3 overall and 10-0 in district.
By virtue of winning its first two games in the district tourney, the Eagles have a bye until the championship game scheduled for Friday at Geneva.
Maegan Riebel led the Eagles with 25 points on 9 of 16 shooting, Kyra Petty finished with 19 points, Suzie Nilsson added 9, Madeline Egbert netted 7, Hailey Kirchner dropped in 4, Lindsay Lee, Bethany DeLuna and Hartlee Menn all chipped in with 3 and Morgan Howard tallied 2.
Petty and Riebel led the team on the boards with 9 rebounds each, DeLuna dished out 6 assists and Riebel came up with 6 steals.
