The Lady Chargers basketball team made the short drive down Highway 46 to challenge district foe Smithson Valley Friday night.
Champion played well but the Lady Rangers prevailed, 47-35. The Lady Chargers slip to 3-10 in district and 10-23 overall. The Lady Chargers hosted Seguin to close out their 2023-24 season.
