The Comfort girls basketball team kept their playoff hopes alive with a 43-36 win over Florence Friday night.
With the win the Deer improve to 9-20 on the season and 3-6 in District 5-3A play. They traveled to Ingram Tuesday for the regular-season finale.
Both Comfort and Ingram are 3-6 in district play and tied for fourth so whichever team wins that game will be the fourth seed out of 5-3A and snag the final playoff spot up for grabs.
Prior to Friday, the Deer were at Blanco.
Vs. Florence
Comfort took a 24-16 lead into halftime and then traded baskets with the Wolves in the second half and scored 19 points, while Florence tallied 20 to give Comfort the 43-36 win.
