LAW ENFORCEMENT
The following is a brief, partial recap of incidents reported by the Boerne Police Department and the Kendall County Sheriff ’s Office. General locations are listed rather than specific addresses. An arrest should not imply guilt or innocence, which will be decided in court at a later date. JAN. 24
11:03 a.m., 100 block of Herff Road: A caller reported a male and female carrying a baby were going around asking for money from people in the parking lot.
12:09 p.m., 31000 block of W. Interstate 10: An employee reported a woman in the business’ parking lot who had her vehicle parked there and was asking for money. The caller added that the woman had been asked to leave the location.
1:53 p.m., 100 block of N. Saunders Street: A woman reported her ex-boyfriend was driving around her office in his vehicle, despite her being in the process of obtaining a protective order against him.
3:26 p.m., on Main Street/Hosack Street: A caller reported that someone was attempting to steal his vehicle as he heard the vehicle’s alarm going off, and someone attempting to drive it away.
5:47 p.m., 1300 block of S. Main Street: A caller reported a driver who flashed a firearm at the caller as he was walking into Walmart.

9:49 a.m., 100 block of Roeder Street: A caller reported he received a phone call from someone impersonating a law enforcement officer, claiming to be with the department.
12:14 p.m., 1300 block of S. Main Street: A caller reported something had been stolen from the caller’s vehicle earlier that day.
12:14 p.m., on Cascade Caverns Road: Four individuals were taken into custody. Later that evening, tow trucks were needed for eight vehicles.
12:35 p.m., 1600 block of River Road: A caller reported continued issues with credit card fraud, explaining that $4,500 occurred that night alone. The caller informed dispatch his was not the first time this had occurred, as it had been going on for three months.
1:14 p.m., 100 block of E. Bandera Road: A caller reported one his employees had been threatened by her ex-boyfriend and his new girlfriend. The new couple had told the employee that they were going to follow her around.
4:00 p.m., 100 block of Old San Antonio Road: A caller wanted to report the front license plate had been stolen off a vehicle. The caller wasn’t sure when it had occurred.

10:57 a.m., 1300 block of S. Main Street: A caller reported his wife had received a phone call from someone claiming to be with Boerne PD, who wanted to meet in the Walmart parking lot. The caller said his wife had gone to the parking lot and was waiting for an individual.
11:28 a.m., 600 block of Lattimore Lane: A caller reported a male who was wearing all black and smoking a joint. The caller was concerned that the male was under the influence.
2:33 p.m., 100 block of Crosspoint Road: A caller reported a money order had been stolen.
4:38 p.m., 1600 block of River Road: A caller reported his credit card information had been stolen and was being used at different gas station locations around town.
6:49 p.m., 200 block of Johns Road: An employee reported a minor had told her about how narcotics are being sold at one of the middle schools.
6:59 p.m., 200 block Glade Drive: A caller reported he had written a check for his church last summer; however, the money had been deposited in a different account months later.

2:57 p.m., 100 block of Cabin Springs: A caller reported his daughter’s ex-boyfriend was harassing the daughter over the phone.
5:06 p.m., 400 block of W. Bandera Road: A caller reported a group of women was in the store and parking lot, asking customers for money. The situation escalated into a theft when the woman took flowers from the location.
7:42 p.m., 400 block of W. Bandera Road: An employee reported a male was repeatedly grabbing merchandise, taking it to the check out, and then leaving it. The employee had approached the male and he explained he was looking for something in particular. The male eventually did purchase an item, and then repeated the odd process with a cart of other items.
8:26 p.m., 1600 block of River Road: A caller reported five teenagers were left unsupervised in the pool area, which was against the rules. Law enforcement came to the location and did not find anyone at the location.
10:18 p.m., 800 block of E. Blanco Road: A caller reported a male who appeared to be intoxicated and stumbling towards a taco truck.

12:52 a.m., 1600 block of River Road: A male was reported to be at the location, despite being asked to leave multiple times.
2:30 p.m., 100 block of Hampton Cove: A woman was calling in to report fraud on her credit card.
3:13 p.m., 100 block of Gallant Fox: A caller reported he suspected his neighbor had keyed his vehicle.
6:22 p.m., 600 block of W. Bandera Road: A caller reported a driver who they suspected of being intoxicated because they were going roughly 30 miles under the speed limit and swerving on the road.

1:39 a.m., 100 block of Clear Sky: A caller reported he was out with friends celebrating a birthday when the friends took the caller’s money. Dispatch noted the caller sounded intoxicated.
7:05 a.m., mile marker 540, E I-10: A caller reported a vehicle had lost control and spun out into the center median. Ems was contacted for possible injuries.
9:46 a.m., on Cabin Springs: A caller reported receiving a scam call from someone impersonating a Boerne P.D. officer, claiming the caller had outstanding warrants.
1:53 p.m., on Creek Springs: A second caller reported receiving a call from someone claiming to be with Boerne P.D. This caller had been told they were in trouble for not showing up for a grand jury.
4:19 p.m., 1300 block of S. Main Street: A caller reported a person was asking people for gas; however, once people approached the vehicle, the owner would ask for cash instead. The caller said someone had tried filling up the gas tank and it only needed one gallon.
6:27 p.m., 1100 block of Paniolo Drive: A caller reported he had been followed home by an odd male who insisted the caller’s vehicle needed repairs.
9:07 p.m., 100 block of Cimarron Creek: A caller reported several cars in the area being egged. Additionally, something had been stolen from one of the garages.
JAN. 30
3:34 a.m., 200 block of Tiltwood Court: A caller was concerned about a noise that sounded as though someone was attempting to break into her bedroom. After further reflection, the caller told dispatch she thought it was a different noise.
9:05 a.m., 200 block of Sophia Circle: An individual came in to report his identity being hacked.
10:45 a.m., 200 block of Charger Boulevard: A caller reported that $100 was stolen from her purse the previous day.
12:00 p.m., on Cascade Caverns: A caller reported a male who was laying on the side of the road, by a vehicle with the door open. EMS was called to the scene, but the male had left the location before they arrived.
1:06 p.m., 600 block of W. Bandera Road: A caller reported three males inside the store who the caller suspected were illegally in the country. The caller provided dispatch with the license plate of their vehicle.
6:18 p.m., 100 block of Heathcot: An individual, calling on behalf of her mother, wanted to report that her mother had been scammed out of $10,000 by someone who was pretending to be a Boerne P.D. officer.

12:41 a.m., mile marker 536. E. I-10: A caller reported a vehicle had lost control and gone into the median and through a gate. The driver contacted dispatch and said he had not sustained any injuries, but his vehicle was not drivable.
8:48 a.m., 700 block of FM 473: A caller reported a van in the middle of a field of cows. A second caller reported the van had crashed through a fence and ended up in a field, requiring a tow truck.
9:43 a.m., 400 block of Oakridge Drive: A caller reported receiving a fraudulent call saying she had missed jury duty. Luckily, the caller contacted dispatch instead of paying the scam caller any money.
12:52 p.m., on Mill Dam Road: A male came in to report his pickup had been stolen.
8:46 p.m., mile marker 545, E. I-10: A caller reported seeing a vehicle hydroplane, hit the guardrail and then slide off the road. The interstate was temporarily shut down while the accident was handled.

11:53 a.m., 100 block of Brandt Road: A caller reported a mail carrier had been using her property to turn their vehicle around for several weeks. The caller filed a formal complaint with the corporation.
1:38 p.m., 300 block of Ammann Road: A caller reported she had received a call from someone impersonating her granddaughter.
2:03 p.m., 100 block of W. Highway 46: A caller reported his neighbor had thrown a rock through the caller’s window.
2:51 p.m., 400 block of FM 1376: A caller reported a newer vehicle had been left on the side of the road for four days. The caller had not seen anyone near the vehicle.

3:02 a.m., N. Highway 87: A caller reported an 18-wheeler was parked in a no parking area and was refusing to move.
8:27 a.m., 700 block of Julia Drive: A caller reported seeing a group of males by her vehicle in the early hours of the morning. The caller was requesting extra patrol in the area.
9:19 a.m., 30 block of Fabra Oaks Road: A caller reported an altercation between a male and female. The male was following the female, who was walking and refusing to get back in the vehicle. Law enforcement located the situation and took someone into custody.
3:35 p.m., 100 block of Idlewilde Boulevard: A caller reported ongoing issues with a lawyer after a financial dispute. She said she had seen a vehicle on her property and suspected it was locking her gate to try to lock her out.
7:10 p.m., on Doeskin Drive: A caller reported she was walking around outside when she saw someone get in her vehicle. The individual was startled when the caller began to approach them, and they ran off.
JAN. 27
6:11 a.m., on FM 1376/Walnut Way: A caller reported two teenage males appeared to be breaking into a vehicle that was parked on the side of the road. Law enforcement did not find any markings on the vehicle.
8:01 a.m., 100 block of Cantina Sky: A caller reported she trapped a cat that happened to have a collar on it. Unsurprisingly, the cat was less than amused by the situation. Animal control was contacted.
4:16 p.m., 100 block of Jennifer Drive: A caller reported his neighbor was doing target practice with his firearms but was hitting trees that were close to the caller’s residence. When law enforcement came to investigate the matter, the bullets were close to the officers. The shooters said they would shoot in a different direction.
JAN. 28
12:12 a.m., mile marker 545, E. I-10: A vehicle was reported to be drifting all over the road and fluctuating speed. Bexar County law enforcement was advised, as the vehicle was headed in that direction. The vehicle was successfully stopped and the driver was taken into custody.
12:56 p.m., on FM 473: A subject was taken into custody with a warrant out for his arrest.
2:45 p.m., 1200 block of Fifth Street: A caller reported his security cameras captured someone riding a dirt bike through the area, despite there being no one being allowed on the property.
7:06 p.m., mile marker 523, W. I-10: A small grass fire was reported to be on the side of the interstate. Comfort F.D. was contacted. The fire turned out to be a controlled burn on private property.
JAN. 29
8:03 a.m., on Fabra Oaks Road: A caller reported fraud on his credit card totaling more than $1,400.
8:25 a.m., 10000 block of Johns Road: Twenty buffalo were getting in their steps; unfortunately, they were trespassing in someone’s field in the process.
9:58 a.m., 800 block of Front Street: An employer reported that two weeks prior, an employee had been arrested for trespassing. The caller was requesting a criminal warning.
2:48 p.m., 200 block of W. Headwaters Road: A woman called to report someone was taking street signs in her neighborhood.
4:47 p.m., 100 block of Idlewilde Boulevard: A caller reported a male was on her property and locking her side gate. The caller was unsure when the male had begun locking it.
JAN. 30
3:45 a.m., on Scenic Loop/Corley Road: A caller reported driving by a vehicle that appeared to be involved in an accident, with the driver attempting to flag down passers-by. A second caller also reported the accident. Bandera Electric was contacted as one of their utility poles was struck. The driver was taken into custody for a blood warrant.
10:47 a.m., 500 block of Faltin Street: A caller reported she had written a check for $1,000 worth of work to be done and only $300 was completed.
2:17 p.m., mile marker 545, W. I-10: Bexar County law enforcement reported two juveniles who attempted to open another person’s car door.
