The Kendall County Sheriff’s Office Foundation presents the Kendall County Jail with a B.O.S.S. II Chair, purchased with a grant from the GVTC Foundation and a generous donation from KCSOF Board Member Coby Knox and his wife, Diana Knox. The chair provides fast, safe and efficient screening — magnetic field sensors in the chair can instantly detect the presence of metal on or in the body. The chair minimizes the need for unpleasant intrusive manual searches while increasing safety for officers and inmates. Pictured are Debbie Mayfield, KCSO Foundation secretary, seated; standing (from left) are Brian Yarnell, KCSO Foundation president, and KCSO Foundation board members Jennifer Forbes and Coby Knox.
