Heinen records 50th career goal at Geneva

Geneva School of Boerne soccer player Hayle Heinen recorded her 50th career high school goal recently in the Eagles’ district opener.

The milestone was celebrated by her teammates with a banner and confetti. It was an impressive accomplishment in light of the fact that Heinen spent her sophomore season playing goalie as her team needed support in that critical area.

Heinen joins Alex Doran on the Eagles wall of fame for reaching their 50th and 100th career goals. Heinen and the rest of her teammates have their sights set on returning to the state tournament this year and are working hard to bring home a title.
