The Boerne High girls soccer team remained perfect so far this year after they picked up a win Friday against Pleasanton at Floresville.
Not only did the Lady Greyhounds stay unbeaten at 5-0 but they still haven’t given up a goal this year. They are scheduled to play in the Governor’s Cup tournament in Georgetown this weekend.
The Lady Hounds needed a place to play Friday since their field is being worked on. The Champion boys were at home Friday so that field was occupied and Pleasanton’s field was being used by the boys team so they went to a neutral site at Floresville to play.
In Friday’s match, Sophia Harper and Isabella Pettet both tallied 2 goals apiece, while Avery Ukeiley, Kailey Stringfellow and Sophia Namvar all recorded single assists.
