The Boerne High boys plowed through another district opponent Friday night when they crushed Fredericksburg by almost 30 points.
BHS won the contest 68-39 and improves to 21-5 overall. The Greyhounds are 4-0 in district and it takes their district-winning streak to 41.
The Hounds were scheduled to visit Davenport Wednesday and then close out the first round of district Friday at home against Bandera.
Boerne came out hot Friday and jumped out to a 26-7 lead by the end of the first quarter and hit four 3-pointers.
Sam Holland knocked down three 3-pointers and had 11 points in the quarter, while Casen Hoegemeyer tallied 8 to in the first period as they both outscored the entire Fred team by themselves.
The Hounds took the second by double digits, 16-6, and knocked down four more 3s for the 42-13 halftime lead.
BHS opened up a 61-23 advantage by the end of the third quarter after they won the period, 19-10, as Nic Hernandez was hot from the outside and sank four 3s to make it 12 in the game up to that point.
Fred won the final period, 14-7, but the Hounds added one more 3 for 13 in the game.
Hernandez led the team with 20 points and hit six 3s, Holland finished with 19 points and hit three 3s, Hoegemeyer netted 14 and hit a 3, Luke Fox drained a 3 for 3 points, Hank Hendrix netted 5 and hit a 3, Noah Patton also had 5 and recorded a 3 and Julien Hartman scored 2.
