Both the Geneva School of Boerne soccer teams opened district play with lopsided shutout wins over Holy Cross Tuesday.
The Geneva boys defeated Holy Cross, 8-0, while the Geneva girls crowned the Lady Knights, 7-0.
In the girls match, Haylee Heinen tallied a goal for the 50th goal of her Geneva career.
