The Geneva School of Boerne girls team returned to district play Friday with a road trip to San Antonio to take on Holy Cross.
Geneva rolled to a big win, 59-21, to stay unbeaten in league play. The Eagles are 3-0 in district and improved to 18-3 overall.
Geneva hosted Corpus Christi John Paul II Tuesday and then welcomes another Corpus Christi school, Incarnate Word, Friday.
Maegan Riebel led the Eagles with 24 points, while Kyra Petty added 15 as the two combined for 39 of the team’s 59 points.
Riebel knocked down four 3-pointers and also grabbed 10 rebounds, came up with 6 steals and had 2 assists.
Petty was 5 for 6 from 2-point range to do her damage there, snagged 5 bords, recorded 4 steals and had 2 assists.
Madeline Egbert tallied 5 points, Hartlee Menn and Bethany DeLuna both scored 4, Morgan Howard netted 3, while Lindsay Lee and Grace Detterick both chipped in with 2.
Detterick pulled in 5 rebounds and Howard had 4 steals and 3 assists to go with her totals.
