The Boerne Champion boys basketball team remained perfect in 26-5A after the Chargers defeated Pieper in a low-scoring game Friday at Charger Gym.
Champion won the defensive battle, 47-37. The Chargers are 3-0 in district and reach the 20-win plateau to stand at 20-3.
Champion visited Smithson Valley Tuesday and hosts Seguin Friday.
